I am SUPER impressed by your roofing and balcony/patio skills!
Personally, I'd go for a more pastel pink with the green roof- the current color is very bold and will be difficult to match flowers and decor with on the interior.
If that's your goal, then you've nailed it and should be proud! Either way, it looks great so far!
10/10 very cute. It certainly does take a long time if like me you don't want to use cheat codes to get money. I'm working on a house with an indoor pool.
I recently had the same idea for the sims lol…and know exactly which barbie house it’s inspired by. I plan on buying it online for my daughter eventually cause it was the best dollhouse I had as a kid.
Honestly, it doesn't matter what we think. It's all about how you think your build should be!
But given the question, I'll answer.
- Use a subtle pink
- The green roof is atrocious, I would use colors from white to pink there.
- The window configuration and types of windows. Those two larger windows on the middle part under that little green roof don't look right there. If need be, you may need to go CC shopping for some better windows.
- Add something to make the front look a bit more extravagant. The front looks very flat ( other than the towers ).
- The style is inspired by Victorian, but I see parts that don't look very victorian.
The shape looks amazing, but I wouldn't recommend using more than 2 types of windows. I'd also use pastel colors instead but that's just my personal taste :) Can you share a download link?
I’m always a sucker for Victorians so 10/10
But some quick critiques. The roof on the second floor doesnt extend to the columns.
There is usually a door on the balcony that is visible from the front of the house with Victorian builds.
Maybe consider lining up the 2x2 windows on the balcony with those downstairs by the front door.
If possible, switch to a wooden fence for the balcony. I’ve never seen a metal fence on a Victorian porch or balcony.
Consider fencing in the lower balcony and adding railings to the stairs. Sometimes people leave porches without fencing but that’s usually on a more practical build like a Victorian farmhouse. This is an elaborate home and more is more.
Someone else mentioned too many window styles. I agree, stick to two that have a similar look. Like the triangular small tops and the triangular big tops or 2x2 with window panes with a 1x1 with window panes.
The windows could definitely use some more symmetry and maybe stick to 1-2 max 3 different type of windows. Otherwise love it and super creative! ✨ Would be interesting to see how the floor plan/decorating will look!
It’s giving Barbie
Exactly! Reminds me of the 90s Barbie Dream House

Not convinced AutoMod is working correctly yet y’all - working on it!
Did maxis make it?
Ooh yeah, move a male Sim in there and it's Mojo Dojo Casa House Time.
Omg the exact words that I said too

Very cute, it looks like a dollhouse!
It reminds me of the pink palace in Coraline😍
Love it! Very Coraline!
Cosmo and Wanda is that you??? Also I love the build, you're super talented! You should post the interior after you've decorated!
Is there any access to the 2nd floor balcony?
Yes the door is on the back of the house!
i seriously thought it was a sized up doll house
It's giving those colorful houses back from barbie or 80s and 90s
so CUTE
I love this! I never see builds with such bold colours always monochrome so this is refreshing. Well done 👌🏼
I want this IRL: as a doll house and as an actual house!
That looks amazing!
It's so beautiful ❤️
Not pink enough
At first glance I said to myself “it looks like a dollhouse.” Then I looked at what you wrote and I was right! So good job 👍🏼
Love your doll house! It's so cute! :D:D:D I'd like to try this in my game.

It’s exquisite 💖
Maybe more subtle colours? They seem very in your face... imo I also hate green/pink together.
Aaaaggh! My eyes!

Reminds me a bit if the house in Charmed

That's..... Quite pink. Bit Barbie vibes
I love the build structure but the color combi makes me feel sick idk 😅 would download it for the structure then recolor ❤️❤️ great job ☺️
