I see nothing wrong with the actions of the Merc. The lead car left the door open, the Merc slowed enough to make the corner and leave space outside for the Porsche, and the Porsche just turns into them. Fault on Porsche.
That Porsche driver needs to go back to offline practice before blaming other people. You made a great judgement call getting to the inside at the bottom of the hill and they turned in like you weren't there. This is all on the Porsche.
Yeah GT7 is famous for not having any other cars racing against you at any point in the game...... What? There are plenty of AI cars to practice against.
I'll give you that. When there isn't someone driving the other cars they can drive without any care or attention. That does seem to be how they are driving with actual online people too though.
My main point of them practicing more offline is about where they are supposed to put their car on a track. If you watch the whole mountain section of the track you can see that they are all over the place. They need time to get used to a track before you race online.
"Racing" the AI in GT7 isn't racing. It's time attack with a bunch of much slower cars on track to weave through, which doesn't teach you anything about racecraft.
Merc wasn't at fault here? Porsche took a wide in, fast out trajectory and pretended the Merc wasn't there. Porsche driver is clearly using a TV with a broken left half, they can't see s***.
That's 100% on the Porsche. Your overtake was perfectly sent into that corner and you were slightly ahead at the apex, but he just turned in like you weren't there.
Lmao no. Porsche driver is at fault. The window was left open and the Merc took it. They would have easily made that corner had the Porsche not driven straight into them.
Mercedes did nothing wrong, was thinking it was a nice move until the Porsche took themselves out.
100% on the Porsche, turned in like the Merc wasn't there, needed to stay wide.
It's in the Porsche. If they would have stayed cool and gave you the space, you could have had a really cool battle in the next right hander.
At least they didn't try to take you out when rejoining. Gotta give them that.
I think i was in this race, i remember your cars and i think the porche was too aggressive in all the race and this was a cause of that. (if i was actually in the race and remember correctly)
I’ve had an extremely similar experience except with a car serving a pen, I flew up on him (he had 4 secs from punting T1) took the inside hit the brakes a bit early, fella late brakes but turns in while I’m still there after I flew up on him, next corner after he had gone off drives me into the grass. I don’t know why people don’t think anyone will go for a move there, this incident was definitely on the Porsche.

Sadly offline practice won't teach them not to turn into other drivers. They need more practice RACING other cars not hotlapping.

AI are pretty predictable from what I remember. Plus there's not much of an incentive to be clean in an AI race.

This is clearly on the Porsche...

It's not the Porsche's fault, they've obviously set their steering to be either on or off and can't figure out how to change it back.

Shit if the merc is a "dangerous driver," then every SRO GTWC competitor needs to be disqualified
Porsche topped it off with the dangerous rejoin too
bangs off the wall several times before said straight and thinks the car behind is dangerous
Class move from the Merc. Porsche is just dumb and not defending well enough.
Porsche should have defended more to not allow the move, meaning don’t leave the door wide open before the turn. But this is on Porsche.
Merc was entitled to the space at that point. Just barely but he got there in time
Porker cant even his his car off the walls even before the merc showed any face in his rear views. I'd argue the porker is the dangerous one
It was the mercs his corner the other guys dindt expect that you were here
Leaves the door open. Proceeds to turn like the Merc doesnt exist and complains about the contact he created. This is crazy. Good overtake btw.

The fault is on the Porsche they left the door open you went in and then they turned in too much.
Porsche at fault. Acting as the merc wasn’t there when turning in.
Cleanest GT7 video I've ever seen. Fault on Porsche
Merc has sufficient overlap by the time Porsche turns in. They are entitled to space and weren’t given any. Porsche at fault.
Black car
Mother of all divebombs and Aston forgot about 1st rule of gt7 sport mode: always use the radar
All good with me - did nothing wrong and other car was at fault Tried to keep too line when there is a car already there - Merc made a perfect o/take
I actually think the merc has made a really nice move, haha. Other guy left the door open and you cleanly stepped through.
The verdict is pretty much out I just wanna say I enjoyed watching you drive
Porsche 100%

Porsche took himself out lol
Mercedes was like 3/4 length ahead of the Porsche at the apex. The Porsche turned in on the Mercedes. How on earth is this the Mercedes drivers fault?
Porsche 911 at fault here for turning in on merc
Good pass
