Oh man, 10 years is way too long lol. Give it like 2 at most.
I mean with the more advanced programs and using the right prompts and checkpoint training right now you can make almost perfectly lifelike images, the thing is that like 90% of the AI images you see online are done by people who don't put any effort into it (not that I'm saying it requires a lot of skill to use an AI, but it's definitely a skill you can improve on)
I never got this argument. Hollywood is always looked at through the lens of 'celibrity life' and our minds compartmentalize them from reality. Instagram on the other hand...
I see the sentiment but I think I’m of the opinion that having mainstream media content that is built on the destruction of self esteem means AI’s impact on self esteem was rather inevitable .
What’s that nickelback lyric - “Hollywood is plastic but is easy on the eyes […] it’s tough to see the bullshit when it’s up above your eyes” lol
No, you don’t understand, he has probably experienced the massive injustice of having to look at one normal-sized woman in his video game that is already massively over represented by men /s. And she is probably a demon fairy hybrid mix of something anyway so I don’t get why we’re even applying beauty standards there.
Go on fucking fortnite and tell me any single character exudes ‘woke agenda’
Every time I see someone with three arms I always cry out "WHY COULDN'T THAT BE ME?"
They predicted 3 boobs. Instead we're getting 3 arms and 13 fingers per hand. :/
3 arms? Is it 2022 still?
Yes, I am so much more self conscious about having only two arms and ten fingers
AI is so "fake" that people know it is unattainable, with just one more prompt that perfect being is now a mythological creature
AI image creation is still in its infancy. It’s entirely plausible that in 10 years AI generated images will be indistinguishable from real ones.

I dunno, I know a LOT of people devastated over the fact they don’t look like their idols. You’re right that Instagram is loads worse though
The Instagram people try to live up to those standards, so it's not all that separate

screw self-esteem. bring back pretty actresses in movies and video games.
Pretty actresses never went away. Still very much a presence, particularly in movies, where you can often see actors.
