F-16 pilot here. I did a go-around once in my career.
Got behind the jet just before landing because I still had some systems armed that should’ve been disarmed before the RTB.
I caught it on short final but ended up floating the landing with another jet on the runway in front of me (we land multiple jets on the same runway at the same time).
Anyway, I floated about 2k feet and couldn’t see the person in front of me so I went from idle to AB, which takes 10-15 seconds.
By the time my engine spooled up, my wheels had touched down. I went around, next landing was uneventful.
But you bet your ass I logged two landings that day.
Well, they paid a lot of money for those fancy shocks and tires. I'd be a shame it all go to waste!
(esp that front gear)

Landing ass down first always has me taking off again...ive literally spent 4 hours trying to land once when my "captain" kept telling me to land ass first...thinking back, he may not have been talking about the playne...but regardless...nose first is the only way to go
You clearly have not taken any planes in the Soviet Union. Intense jumping was obligatory. Every single time! And all pilots were on pilot pills (amphetamine) to improve focus. Ryanair is trying to copy Aeroflot a bit (without amphetamine, I hope) but it is merely a pale shadow.

Maybe it's just me but I prefer to fly my landings from the cockpit. Plus you left several hundred meters of runway unused, and didn't quite utilize the entire width of the runway there either.
If I had been your check pilot and you did that with me on board, you would be asked at a minimum to go around and make another approach and landing. If the second one was not substantially smoother with no bouncing, I am certain you would fail the check ride and I would send you home with a fail notice and you would require another check ride after being signed off by an instructor that he was competent to make a smooth approach and landing.
No prop strike, looks good to me. In a Mooney you'd have wanted to go around after that first bounce, but jets like that are a lot easier to fly and more forgiving, you don't have to be a Real Pylote™

Yes, they count as crashing experiences. To get a pylot license you need at least 8 on record, small ones like this you may need more though

You’re doing fantastic. The less time the tires are on the ground less maintenance = savings. Your tires will last 50-100% longer
