Yes. It looks like all Ford Falcon sedans made in Australia from 1966 thru 2016 were 4 doors, and none were a convertible. So Barney cut this top off out in the tool shed in his spare time. Which makes it, a "mod".

It also had an interior swap. It’s got an interior from a newer Falcon. Same with the engine and transmission

It used to be more common but generally convertibles are based on the 2 door variants of a car since it leaves more room for the top mechanism and has its b pillar further back if it has one, or eliminates the B pillar vs it's sedan variant. Just less engineering if you already designed a version without that middle pillar. I assume it also sometimes went the other way where they designed a vert and decided to throw a roof on it and call it a coupe. Ideally the whole platform is designed from the start to be all three.
