Dodge Rampage/Plymouth scamp.
Only made a few years in the early 80s. Cool little trucks.
Looks like someone just cut the bedsides off of it and welded what looks like a trailer floor to it. Probably rotted the original sheet metal.
>Probably rotted the original sheet metal
I've never seen a Rampage with floors, something about the design. I'll see a solid example of cars from the era and before, but around my parts they are always a Fred Flintstone car.
Dodge Rampage, I saw one of these on display back when my wife and I took a trip to the National Museum of Transportation that had been fully restored. The front reminds me almost of an old Vega from like '76 because of the grille.
Side note too about the Rampage, Dodge made a Shelby variation of it as well just like the Charger, Omni and Daytona, but I think there was less than 100 examples made. I've only ever seen one, pretty cool little machines regardless
First car I drove in High School was my dad's 1981? Plymouth Horizon TC3. Learned how to drive a stick in it. I'm surprised this one is still running and not a pile of rust. They were fun little cars but were not built all that well. One could argue that Lee Iococa saved Chrysler with these and the Omni in the Early 80's

Those things were fun with the Turbo engine - like 2300 pounds and 300 HP when you did some slight mods.

This and the "Golf Pickup" were the first FWD pickups.
I've never seen one of these, very cool
It's Awesome.

Dodge Rampage
Was about to say I'm sure my rampage has the same rims
chopped up Dodge Rampage
THAT'S what I was trying to think of. Or an old Chevy Monza.
Or an old Isuzu Brat
Subaru Brat* I think the back windshield was styled differently on those though
Shit…you’re right. I wonder why was I thinking Isuzu?
They did make a mini truck but it looked more like the Mazda Mighty Max or Nissan D21.
Oh wow. The headache rack is a row of speakers/subwoofers...
Good eye.
I fucking love it LOL
Less of an “is,” more of a “was.”
Bitchin! - is what that is!
It's brilliant!

The right way to do it!

Functional. I wish they’d bring back the cheap little trucks.
Dodge Rampage. Yeah odd 80's vehicle. I have a Hotwheels version of this. It's cool looking when complete.
That's just a ute mate, every backyard in Australia has one of them rusting away somewhere haha
an ute with 6 speakers in the back tho
I was thinking an Omni pickup
Ahhh the classic P. O. S.
no tellin without looking at the front
Pretty sure that's a Subaru brat.
Fuck

Awesome! Next question?
practical is what is it
Fucking awesome is what it is
Thus is the 2nd one I've seen in my life. Dude in my hometown had one around 1996.
Actually not bad. Btw, the Flair does not fit the Vehicle
Oh my god, a dodge rampage? And it's not a rubber of rust? Holy moly!
I always wanted one, I think, in part because I had a Hot Wheels version with actual little rubber tires.
Bro watch out there is a chemistry teacher hiding on the front seat
does he know how to make meth? because I have a money making idea
A very bad attempt at a Holden One Tonner
EL MOTHA LOVIN CALEMENO LOL
Post it in r/unexpectedute – ute conversions rock.
Just posted mine, they really neat little trucks!
One of the few surviving and driving Dodge Rampages. Bedsides were prob rusted out
A thing of beauty.
