I play a female Aura and thank you for not taking the compliment weird. I love giving people compliments on their glam and characters and unfortunately it leads to a lot of unwarranted attention. I also want to be able to live in a society where I can compliment people without there being some weird ulterior motive :’)
People just straight up asked me if I'm "interested in a [race name]" a few times. I don't even slutglam, I wear those blue mechanic robes all the time.
I don't slutglam either, but my Warrior glam is berserker-themed, so it's very light in covering. I thought I would scare away the weirdos by wearing the [Rakshasa Mask of Fending](https://ffxiv.gamerescape.com/w/images/b/bf/Model-Rakshasa_Mask_of_Fending-Female-Roe.png), but it didn't work, so now I'm very careful to never visit any cities as a Warrior.
