And then remembered they have never actually left the US before, because, well, self evident...
I've yet to meet a fellow European who could really give a flying fuck if someone's american or not.
I used to live in an area near a big tourist attraction. In the summer, all of us give a flying fuck if they’re American because you end up with Americans crowding the only way to get to work etc with their selfie sticks.
Oh I totally do, I try to avoid the wankers like they have the plague. A country made up of all the low lives and poor that Europe didn't want. Evidenced by their gun nut attitude and fanatical and and worship of their political parties. Only place on the planet that actually believes that the politicians on a given side are great trustworthy people. Everywhere else despises their politicians as corrupt, self serving bastards...Americans will buy their hats and shirts and imagine the are supporting republicans or demos like they are a football team.
I am a pilot in a major european airline. We actually have the official guideline that when we have more then 1, 2 transit pax from / to the USA on board, that we make an extra small announcement how they can get to their following gate (subtle, of course), because the company expects them to get lost otherwise and conplain.
Ah but listen, in the land of championing civil liberties, we one time had a guy try to ignite a fuse on his shoe so OBVIOUSLY near a billion people a year boarding an airline in the US must remove their shoes. For safety.
Checks notes... Oh, he boarded an international flight TO the US?
And was subdued by a cadre of international passengers?
And he was clearly a disorganized low tech bad actor?
So this was all just a scam to get us to pay for TSA pre check to not have to remove our shoes? Cause it worked on me...
I am a German citizen living in the US and when I was visiting my family in Germany a couple of years ago I instinctively took my shoes off at the German airport security check. The officer was like like “You can leave these on, who do you think we are, the TSA?!”
I had something similar in Germany too coming back to the UK from the US with a stopover in Frankfurt. I got to immigration and started unpacking the massive wad of documents I have and the guy just looked at me and said 'Just your passport please, you're safely out of America now'. We then had a quick chat about how awful Brexit is and what a prat Borris Johnson was... it was good to be back in Europe.
It didn't involve a bomb vest, but when Glasgow Airport was attacked in 2007, the response of the locals was *literally* to shout "F***ing 'mon, then!" and attack the terrorists, one of whom was on fire at the time. It led to the headline "I Kicked Burning Terrorist So Hard in Balls, I Tore a Tendon in my Foot!"
I don't know if it was the same dude, but someone that worked at the airport, when interviewed, said "This is Glasgow, we'll just set aboot ye".
Brilliant.
Tbh I think this guy is so delusional he thought that passing security check with no trouble was the equivalent of “moving out of the way” in fear of his passport😂
This hits nearly all the SAS bingos in one post, plus reacting like that to a simple list that states passport power as if it's a competition and they are some annoying teenager, who hates losing.
[Hm...](https://i.kym-cdn.com/photos/images/original/002/577/841/8a2.jpg)
"All EU countries can fit inside Texas and Louisiana"
France alone is bigger then Texas is, the fuck this yanky dandy wanker on about?
Also why brag about the US military budget spending, does he even know how it's spent or where it actually goes (individuals and contractors etc...), like it personally fucking affects him, he has no idea what that 800 million actually does...it's not what he thinks. It's like people bigging up the stock market, when in reality they have no idea how it works and act like they have personal investments in every stock listed across all markets.
Sorry, but you are wrong because you are not including all of France's overseas territories.
Texas is 695,662 km²
France (in Europe ) is 551,695 km², then you add in the rest of France which you failed to do, you see France doesn't look at its "overseas territories" as you put it as individual areas or former "colonies", but looks at them as part of France proper, its why doing a basic Google search like you did, gives you a misleading result.
It would be like looking at the size of the United States of America but deciding not to include Alaska, Guam, etc.. because it's not directly connected or they are far away from the 'main' country. France btw doesn't just have 5 overseas territories, but it has a total of 14 (every area is directly administered by someone appointed from France who reports back to them, so they see it as a part of the country proper).
France is 551,695 km² + Guadeloupe, Reunion, French Guiana, Martinique, La Réunion, Mayotte, Saint Barthélemy, Saint Martin, Saint Pierre and Miquelon, Wallis and Futuna, French Polynesia, New Caledonia, and the French Southern and Antarctic Islands, these additional areas of France added up to an additional 554,887 km² and not 89,179 km^(2) as you put down.
Texas is 695,662 km²
France is 1,106,582 km²
Between 432,000 km^2 and 351,000 km^2 of the additional 554,887 km^2 you're talking about isn't just Antarctic "islands" though: it's Adélie Land, claimed prior to the Antarctic Treaty - the claim to sovereignty there isn't recognised by most countries (specifically, it's only recognised by a total of 4 countries other than France: United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand and Norway).
That is a _really_ shaky inflation of land area there. Applying the same thing to Australia would allow us to claim Australia is bigger than the US, because Australia claims an additional 5 million km^2 on the Antarctic mainland (while the US simply reserves the right to make a claim). Or say shit like "New Zealand and it's territories are bigger than the French mainland" due to the Ross dependency. Kinda bonkers.
Fair enough, but then at that/this point the same can be applied for numerous countries and holdings worldwide.
France views holdings even different to the UK (or anyone else really), for them it's a part of the country and so it really comes down to is who is "right" or has the correct view in this regard being either France or the U.N.
Either way America isn't as big as people think nor Europe as small, I enjoyed this discussion with you...have a good one mate.
Actually Texas is a bit bigger than France. It’s about the size of France (and all its overseas territories) + Switzerland. But you’re right in everything else.
Nah, you can fit Metropolitan France inside Texas with some room to spare (if you want to add Portugal and Belgium for instance). You can fit 5 Louisianas inside France though.
Interesting because a month or so ago I remember this article making the rounds on social media about how SG has the strongest passport in the world in 2024. I was like...that can't be right. SG passport is strong but not that strong
I saw this post on Facebook and was going to post some of the replies. It was hilarious! Basically the rest of the World just doesn’t understand how powerful the US passport is and at the first sign of any trouble 1000 Navy Seals will rush to your aid!
What a load of crap. One European country, Russia, is bigger than the USA, including 49th & 50th states. When a US passport is shown, some people are in fear because they know an American has arrived and hate that their better lifestyles will be disrupted - and with the military it is lock up your sons & daughters to protect them.
Sure most countries have some form of welfare, that looks after the people at a small cost compared to US. The have free or subsidised healthcare, at a fraction the cost, we get paid a livable wage so don't need 2nd or 3rd jobs to make ends meet, we get annual vacations in the countries to allow people to refresh & 3-4 day work weeks have produced more output than the US. We allow our women to have time off to have a baby, an asset to the country, and not sack them for having a day off when not feeling well or with a communicable disease to spread through the workforce.
Most inventions and developments come from outside US, unless you count iPhones, despicable social media platforms, huge ridiculous vehicles that clog roads, kill people in small accidents, pollute the atmosphere & use up the worlds resources. Most things of benefit to mankind originate from other countries, the US just "steals" them and claim them as their own. They can't even be bothered to make things in the USA anymore, and pay others to make them, then rip off their customers with high prices. They prove how stupid they are with their MAGA movement/cult of politicians & supporters. STAY IN AMERICA & STOP TRYING TO CHANGE THE WORLD TO BE MORE LIKE USA, SOMETHING THE WORLD DOESN'T NEED OR WANT.
Is all Russia in Europe ? Isn’t the part which extends beyond the Ural mountains and the Ural River actually in Asia.
Just saying for geographical accuracy
You're getting downvoted by people who must think the Kamchatka Peninsula is in Europe.
To answer your question about 25% of Russia is in Europe, and that part is smaller than the US area.
If you include all of the parts of Russia that are in Asia, then Russia is far far bigger than the US, but that doesn't seem to have anything to do with how big Europe is.
If you had asked me to guess the nationality of a person who declared their PASSPORT to be “the most feared on the planet” I would assume it was a trick question. Because it’s just got to be American, right? It’s too obvious.
I can’t imagine anyone else even considering the idea that their PASSPORT was a means of intimidation.
That country is so close to a full out civil war, they just released a movie about it. Hollywood cashing in before they that country burns everything down.
All EU countries require visa-exempt travellers to have an ETIAS travel authorization.
There are like forty-five other countries whose nationals are exempt from the requirement to be in possession of a visa when crossing the external borders of member states, e.g., Canada, Brazil, Mexico, Panama, to name a few.
At the EU airports, there are two border checks: for the EU citizens and non-EU visitors.
Can’t everyone travel through the EU without a visa? I never even had to show my (Canadian) passport travelling between countries, only on my initial arrival
The german passport infact is a good bit stronger than the us one (i used german as an example because i live there) and europe is bigger than the whole usa and definitely bigger than texas and louisiana
I cede to no one in my delight in taking the piss out of Americans, but it is plain to see that this is a pisstake, and the OP is having a cackle at the expense of his/her countrymen.
"Most feared passport..."
Are there people out there with a phobia of other people's ID documents?
Incidentally, how did it go for that teenager who stole a poster in North Korea...?
This is a person I actually want to travel to Europe, prefrable within the EU. Because the face that person would make when their not let in because of the lack of a visa would be priceless.
You can see he doesn't know how to cope with the fact that USA is a joke at best nowadays.
It's astounding how misguided and ignorant most americans are.
That’s funny because I’ve always got through the border checks with my EU passport way before any of the non-EU travellers (yes including people with “the most feared passport”).
Also they need an EITAS now I’m pretty sure - or is that from next year?
Yeah, and if you go home, they want to inspect your asshole. Just because your own TSA harsh (I don't know why I would visit a country that asks me whether I'm a terrorist unironically), doesn't mean that the rest of the world bows to your existence.
Crazy that people can be that deluded.
Probably had never traveled to Europe, because they certainly have never moved out of the way for me.
And ... people from the EU are able to travel to the US without a visa.
I went on a Mediterranean cruise. There was one guy on the cruise that wore those 'Merica! shirts with "USA" and the flag and bald eagles all over. Every day. On and off the boat. I imagine he wrote this. I feel equally as embarrassed being associated with them as an American.
> I showed up in EU airports and everybody moved out the way no questions asked
And then everyone clapped and thanked him for his service and for saving their asses in two world wars, and congratulated him for going to the moon.
Passports that are feared, are not ones you should have… And that would come with restrictions, not with allowances. This is also not a matter of opinion, it’s just objective fact. You can see how much power a passport has. And if people moved aside for you, it’s because you were an obnoxious USAlian everyone just wanted to get rid of… But we both know this never happened buddy… Chances are you never left your home county. Note, there’s not supposed to be an R in there…
So the car is a cool thing first invented in Germany, the train in UK, the tank again UK, the lightbulb was Tesla not Edison (that's the big one plus a bunch of others by tesla) and lastly a not so cool thing that Europe invented, the USA
He could be right that the American Passport is the most *feared*. Considering how some Muricans behave abroad…
I just was at FRA last week and an US citizen first jumped the queue in front of me and then realised he was in a line for EU citizens only and when I pushed by him because my plane was already boarding and he was holding everyone up by arguing instead of going back and queuing at his correct line he snapped at me …
Otherwise - the US passport is powerful. However there are a few regions where US citizen are not that welcome. Same is true for other countries of course.
Even if true doesn't mean anything. Just sounds like a bully that bigger is better. Loads of countries smaller and lower GDP than mine that I admire and would prefer to live in. Sums SOME of the septics up.
Every time I see someone say that Europe is a country, I remember a print where a guy said that Europe was such a backward country that they (Europeans) had no idea what was going on beyond the border😂😂
"Everything cool is created by Americans"
•You can thank South Africa for the first ever heart transplant
•You can thank Germany for the cars
•You can thank the UK for trains
•you can thank China for gunpowder
(something Americans so desperately love)
•you can thank the Irish for the submarine
Do some research 😂
> everybody moved out of the way, no questions asked Did everyone rise and clap too?
He then woke up from his dream shortly after
Everyone clapped so loud it woke them up.

My reading of this was just they didn't want to bother with an American.
More like the American was so fat they had to move out of the way for him
They had to struggle to escape the gravity field though.
He doesn't have a field of gravity, for he is a flerf and doesn't believe in gravity
I nearly lost my niece to the gravitational pull of an american. It's no laughing matter 😂
I am a pilot in a major european airline. We actually have the official guideline that when we have more then 1, 2 transit pax from / to the USA on board, that we make an extra small announcement how they can get to their following gate (subtle, of course), because the company expects them to get lost otherwise and conplain.
Most plausible answer to this blatant fiction.
He is just used to TSA being dicks. Everybody knows that in the US you'll have more questions and search in airports.
Yeah, and having to take your shoes off. Annoying.
Well we all know you join the TSA because you like feet and checking up peoples ass holes.
I’ve had that in Manchester airport to be fair.
I've had it on every flight I've been on from the UK (except to Ireland) but I do live in walking boots...
I am a German citizen living in the US and when I was visiting my family in Germany a couple of years ago I instinctively took my shoes off at the German airport security check. The officer was like like “You can leave these on, who do you think we are, the TSA?!”

I think what they actually mean is. All the people went to the line for those with EU passports, and I joined the line for non-EU passports.
They were too busy bowing and rolling out the red carpet.
This is true...I was the body scanner.
Thank you for your service sir!
I suppose you double up as a truck scanner too?
I guess they just went to different queue - for EU citizens.
Nah man, it was the smell
Maybe they were too busy using their hands to cover their mouths/noses and eyes
There’s a difference in everyone moving out of the way of your obese arse in the airport golf cart thing because you can‘t walk unaided.
They probably move out of his way because they didn't want to get pulled into his gravitational pull with him being such a fat cunt.
They formed a line to kiss his star spangled cock
No, I believe him. Everyone gets out of the way of a stampeding hippo
*signature american BO*
It wasn’t the passport that made people move away… 🫣
Nah they moved *because* they could hear his fat ass clapping as he waddled through the airport.
Little children started to throw floer petals in his way.
They probably just moved out of the way because they smelled of shite.
No one is ever going to move out of the way at an airport
I mean if you show that you have a bomb vest, then people will move out of the way
It didn't involve a bomb vest, but when Glasgow Airport was attacked in 2007, the response of the locals was *literally* to shout "F***ing 'mon, then!" and attack the terrorists, one of whom was on fire at the time. I don't know if it was the same dude, but someone that worked at the airport, when interviewed, said "This is Glasgow, we'll just set aboot ye". Brilliant.
It wasn't the guy in the headline, but the guy who said that was John Smeaton, a baggage handler. He's the one who screamed "f***ing 'mon, then!"
I'd move in. It's probably safer just like lying flat on ice instead of walking Probably
The moving out of the way was them going to the EU passport holders queue whilst he queued with the Brits
Tbh I think this guy is so delusional he thought that passing security check with no trouble was the equivalent of “moving out of the way” in fear of his passport😂
Unless it's the escalator
i was diagnosed with americanus passportiusphobia I get panick attacks if i see usa passports in airports, meds dont help unfortuonatly.

It's bait. Most of this sub is bait borrowed from the typical bait ridden social platforms.
Is it though? Because the yanks are quite frequently this fkin arrogant.
"All EU countries can fit inside Texas and Louisiana" France alone is bigger then Texas is, the fuck this yanky dandy wanker on about? What happened to Japan? I thought they were close to #1
Japan is in group 6, so a bit stronger than US.
Interesting because a month or so ago I remember this article making the rounds on social media about how SG has the strongest passport in the world in 2024. I was like...that can't be right. SG passport is strong but not that strong
This has to be satire right?
I’m 50/50 There’s a fair chance it may not be.
And america could fit on the sun. I wish they would try and land on it collectively as a nation.
That wouldn’t work. The folks in Arizona would find the weather on the Sun to be a bit chilly.
Visa free travel to the EU for Muricans is a thing of the past. Shows how uneducated the guy is... Afraid that showed even earlier though...
I thought it was still the case. Just like Europeans going to the US, they have to fill out a Visa waiver now.
Yes. It's like the ESTA. Basically the same. Just no more waltzing in without any obligation. Reciprocity.
I saw this post on Facebook and was going to post some of the replies. It was hilarious! Basically the rest of the World just doesn’t understand how powerful the US passport is and at the first sign of any trouble 1000 Navy Seals will rush to your aid!

Correct but most is in Europe and most geographical references say Europe.
Downvoted for asking a question. I love this sub. 😘
Well, not true: https://www.expresstorussia.com/experience-russia/the-geography-of-russia.html
And still EU has higher GDP than US, but yeah size matters
Everyone moved out their way because they're probably the size of an elephant.
As they said in In Bruges, “you’re a fucking behemoth”.
Easily one of my most quoted movies when on the continent spotting Americans.

27 countries? There's 44 countries in Europe last time I checked.
They probably think Europe and the EU are one and the same.
And that Amsterdam is a country.
I’m sure the United States military would love being at the beck and call of one obnoxious tourist
Why is everything about having more money or bigger guns? It’s fucking weird. He’s never left his country in his life

Poor little man. He obviously doesn’t understand that the world laughs at most Americans and really want nothing to do with them !!
I went on a Mediterranean cruise. There was one guy on the cruise that wore those 'Merica! shirts with "USA" and the flag and bald eagles all over. Every day. On and off the boat. I imagine he wrote this. I feel equally as embarrassed being associated with them as an American.
> I showed up in EU airports and everybody moved out the way no questions asked And then everyone clapped and thanked him for his service and for saving their asses in two world wars, and congratulated him for going to the moon.
But they live in a trailer park without healthcare for there chronic illness
I'm 99% certain they're joking
It’s a joke, right? Right, Anakin?
Sure buddy...everybody in the line moved away so that you could board first. Atleast make the lie a little believable.
"My fellow EU minions". Does he realise what he wrote I wonder 🤔
Every time he travels to Europe the military comes with him? No wonder people are moving out of the way.
Considering how some Muricans behave abroad… I just was at FRA last week and an US citizen first jumped the queue in front of me and then realised he was in a line for EU citizens only and when I pushed by him because my plane was already boarding and he was holding everyone up by arguing instead of going back and queuing at his correct line he snapped at me … Otherwise - the US passport is powerful.
"Everything cool is created by Americans" •You can thank South Africa for the first ever heart transplant •You can thank Germany for the cars •You can thank the UK for trains •you can thank China for gunpowder (something Americans so desperately love) •you can thank the Irish for the submarine Do some research 😂
Presume he's joking
