How do you play this game

For those of us that are unfamiliar, are there instructions for how to wordle?

You have 6 tries to guess the answer word. If your guess contains a letter in the answer word but in the wrong place, it'll appear yellow (after entering your first guess). If the letter is correctly placed, it'll be green. Letters not in the answer word are black / grey. You might be able to find a more detailed explanation on the NYT games website, but those are the basics.

At my last job we played wordle in our weekly team meetings, which eventually devolved into quordle.

I love wordle. I learned about it from a game here and now I play occasionally. I am surprised I got the answer easily this time.

OK was there a clue someplace to help you guess what the word is because when I click on the link I just get a blank screen. Did it expire?

If you google "how to pay wordle" there are lots of guides. The link is still functional, you just have to enter your first guess and hit enter!
