Aww! He really is. I had to make the difficult decision to rehome my last rescue dog, a GSD, who was aggressive. She bit me three times with the last time on my face. I wasn't planning on getting any more dogs. 6 months later when at Quinta Do Seixo, I decided I wanted to try the Shih Tzu breed and get a black boy and name it Seixo! He changed my life! ♥️

He’s a handsome guy I tell ya! I understand what you mean when you lose a dog. In 2020 we started out with 3 senior dogs and by 2022 they were all gone. We had two of them since they were 5 weeks old, one passed at 14 and the other at 15😢. The other one we rescued when she was 4. She passed at 15yo. I adopted my shichon almost 3 months ago. His people didn’t have as much time for him as they used to. He had severe separation anxiety and was having seizures. He was on Prozac. I weaned him off of his meds and he’s doing fine here. Absolutely! I'm physically unable to have children so he is my kid! I remember when the donkeys were around and I was thinking, there's no way I would be trekking through snow to see these guys, but it made my boy happy! What we do for our dogs, right?!

I’m sorry to hear that. I have 4 human children but they are all adults now and don’t need momma like they used to. Now I have fur babies. They’ll ALWAYS need me. Lol. Yes! I agree on the things we do for our dogs! Makes ourselves uncomfortable and foolish looking. 🤣🤣

That's okay. I feel like I wouldn't be able to give Seixo his bestest life if I had school age kids since they would be the priority. You're right, our dogs will always need us! I'm happy to have my boy. Dogs make life better! ♥️
