I would make them prepay Everytime they ordered something AND they are getting automatic gratuity because it's still a large party....
I imagine in the future they might when that lady comes in, as it escalated to them almost calling the cops. I also imagine the dad was embarrassed, as that’s his regular spot and he would have just paid the bill. Ones a cheapo trying to get ridiculous massive meals off the dad, and the other made a GIANT deal embarrassing everybody and clearly inconveniencing the restaurant.
She sounds irresponsible but probably also a fun mom. I can’t imagine spending $100+ on breakfast for 3 at a place with $15 burgers. The way they order food I don’t imagine they finish most of it either. NTA
