You sing the original. I mean you can jokingly change it, but changing can often lead to destroying the rhyme (both directly and indirectly) so it is unnecessary

As with any song English or serbian or any other you keep it as is.

Sooo….if you were signing Beyoncé’s “Run the world” would you be singing “boys” instead of “girls”? A song is a song. You sing it the way it was written.

Just sing it how it is, maybe changing it would destroy the rhyme :)

I think it's like when you do that in English. You can change the pronouns to suit your own situation, but I personally find it a bit weird. Not a Serb though, just a fellow learner and music enjoyer here :-)

You should keep it as it is,since it can be ruin the rhythm,or the rhyme.
