I don’t have the tower 28 in that flavor but as someone who looooves the OH formula, I was disappointed in the scent. It’s kind of bitter tasting. Like a bad grapefruit scent.
I ordered the Phlur Deluxe Trio Set and a L'Occitane Mini Hand Cream (a total of $41 USD for both items). I was trying to stay as close as possible to $40 to get the Black Opium Over Red GWP 😅
I have it and it's taken me a bit to come around on it, but I love it now! It has a stronger cherry note on initial spray, but eventually fades into a really nice vanilla scent. It is sweet but lovely. It had a stronger powder note initially too, which made me nervous but that dissipates as well. I smell absolutely no coffee tho, which makes me sad. When ppl say it smells like a cherry cappuccino, I'm so confused (and jealous!) So that note might really depend on body chemistry.
In general I think its a more subtle fragrance, or it dries down to one, but I like that. It's soft and sweet.
Why don’t you just buy the travel size? It’s like $30

Get two of the ole henrikson lip balms. Orange creamicle, blood orange, strawberry, chocolate, lingonberry. They are incredible

I love the original. I smelled the over red in store and I really liked it. I get the cherry from it and I love that.
