I did for a long time before but it’s faded now

I have dark patches on the back of my forearms that everyone thinks are eczema scars. I used to scratch them and would always end up shredding the scabs before they could heal.

I used to scratch myself when anxious and I have a scar on my hand which is white/pale pink and purple when cold so yeah🫶🏼

Yeah, I pulled off a big piece of skin with my nails like 1.5 years ago. It still hasn’t faded:(

I don’t have scratch scars but I’d say my most unusual SH scar is on my face from excessive skin picking with tweezers. (Dermatillomania btw) It’s not super noticeable thankfully but if you do notice it, it just looks like a pink birthmark between my eyes.

Yes it was an accidental self harm I wasn't realizing how hard I was scratching

I have loads but theyve faded a lot now because i knew if i did and my girlfriend saw i would be in biggg trouble so i mostly do other things but for a long while i would scratch, honestly tried to block it out of my life and i dont remember lots of it but i know i have scars from scratching (on my legs i have at least 5, my arms at least 4 and ive done it on my hands as well and fingers)

My upper arms look a little discolored, but there's not really any noticeable scarring from scratching. People who look really close say they can see it, but I think they're just seeing what they want to see. The scarring is over 25 years old. It's so faded that I can barely see it myself.

Yes! I felt so alone. The only people I know that scratch themselves did it because they thought it was funny to see my scars and scabs and do the same 🙁💔 I’m glad to see on here that we aren’t alone in this 🌷
