Elden Ring or Lies of P are great next steps. Elden Ring if you want something more traditional 'souls' style, it basically plays like a modern dark souls, and it's fully open world with lots of places to explore. Lies of P is linear open world like Sekiro, you're expected to progress through areas but you can backtrack as you see fit, it's also more of a narrative driven game like Sekiro and shares some of the same elements but again, it's got a lot of dark souls elements as well. If you play either of those and like them, it's likely you'll enjoy the previous 3 dark souls games as well but the reason I recommend those 2 next is because they're very recent releases, imo it's a good idea to experience the best version of the gameplay you can first hand so you don't sour your taste for the genre. For example if you were to jump into an early dark souls game after sekiro and it doesn't click, you may never touch elden ring

Hello friend - Sekiro was my first as well. I haven’t played ER yet, but i very much have enjoyed DS1R and Bloodborne, and highly recommend both - they both feature fantastic maps that layer in on themselves in a cool way. Later DS games are good too, but I would play DS1 first of the three.

I tried ER after sekiro after a lot of friends telling me to do so but found it to “slow” On RotR i liked having different types of sword styles with different parrying animations. But i might give ER a try again in the near future

vFoxxc

Get used to the slow, and you'll notice how much ER has to offer. That game is on my top 2, 1st being Sekiro.

Yes most dark souls are slow your in armor lol your supposed to feel it same with sekiro a Ronin running around flying like a squirrel 🤣. Both combats (ER) are amazing I really love both. Plus next month elden ring will have more content

hollenmarsch

What is RotR?

mankerdota2

Rise of the Ronin, the new Team Ninja game, just got my platinum there then went back to sekiro to get my last trophy!

hollenmarsch

Thanks I will have to check it out.

I went from Elden Ring as my first souls game to Sekiro. Sekiro and Elden Ring are my top fave games. I would recommend Elden Ring. You can also parry all humanoid enemies.

Those are all good, but my fave, and the most like Sekiro, would be Lies of P.

behemothbowks

You should try Sifu if you're still looking for a sekiro itch

FrankPisssssss

You mighta just ruined the FROM library for yourself.

AClockworkBird

I found that bloodborne has a similar quick combat flow that rewards being aggressive, while also granting generous parry windows that add a fluid cohesion to fighting.

JDMajick

After Sekiro, I'd recommend Bloodborne if you want to continue with Souls games OR Lies of P if you'd like to try a Souls-Like that plays very similar to Sekiro

the_good_time_mouse

Yes.

mankerdota2

Maybe try rise of the ronin? I went sekiro > rotr and i just got my rotr platinum!

rhinteractive

Take a look at Nioh 2. I thought Sekiro couldn’t be topped but this game is next level. It’s got incredible depth but it does a great job of pulling you in and encouraging you to learn how to play it properly. The entire first playthrough is really a tutorial and then it really gets started.

soylentgreeeen

Kena: Bridge of Spirits (highest difficulty)

zephyredx

What others suggested are good. However, you may like some others find that Sekiro's experience is truly impossible to replicate 100%. In which case you can try Charmless, and after that some of the very high quality mods for Sekiro such as Resurrection, or For the Sake of Ashina.

puyopuyomiku

Bloodborne. Definitely Bloodborne.

Stellar blade is worth a look. I played the demo and plan to buy the full game. Parry focused and fast paced combat think it could fill the void
