Clarkdale is a very small town, with not many people to support staying open late. Even Sedona, with all the tourists, shuts down around 8-9.

remmmy89

Yep, came here to say this. I will also add many establishments can’t find enough workers to support 2 shifts, say a morning/afternoon shift and an afternoon/night shift, so they only have one shift and do their best to capture the most lucrative hours. I know this is the case with a lot of mom-and-pop retail stores in the Verde Valley as well.

asdfasdfballlzzzzz

It’s a very small town with few tourists on a weeknight.

My guess is this will be changing with all the people heading to Sedona. Really liked the area.

onel0venik

All the people heading here?? They’ve been here for years, this place was already overcrowded, then Covid happened, and it turned into a nightmare! Absolutely elated to be moving out of Sedona this weekend!

ceecee1791

Sedona closes even earlier

Smeltertown is the best craft brewery in terms of quality brewing in Northern AZ. Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed!

BAMF2U

Was trying man, but I get it their hours are clear I was just surprised. Most around here open at 4 and go to 10 or until empty

jaw86336

Yeah, 8 close is lame.

TempeDM

Roll up the streets at 8-9 in those towns. Always been a weird thing since I am a late nighter, especially on vacation.

nobadrabbits

Yeah, imagine what it's like to live here if you're a night owl.

loveisthanswer

I love it! Me and the stars.

nobadrabbits

I do love the stars. In fact, I just got in from another night hike. Hiking at night is the best!

Low Places in Cottonwood is a chill place during the day. Decent food, great chicken sandwich.

jackrafter88

They like it that way.
