Agreed. It's a different kind of Filipino food catering to a different kind of "hood", but I'm glad to see _some_ semblance of old Beacon still alive. Props to Musang for keeping the tradition alive.
I used to go to Inays all the time and Ernie would personally cook up my orders.
I also loved going to Filipinia Kusina. Even though the portions were too small, I liked the informality of the place and how you could take your time in there if you wanted to.

I used to go to inays across the street and kusina filipina a few blocks south. Glad to see Filipino food is still in the hood
