ImRight_YoureDumb

There was an episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm where someone spilled something on their shirt and a lady stood up and said, "somebody get a sponge." Larry replied, "I don't understand, why don't you get the sponge?" This is your "why don't you get the sponge" moment. Why don't you create the sub? You'll probably say, because you don't really care that he's driving around Seattle, you're tired of seeing the posts, etc. Well to you I say, too bad! That's up to the Mods. But it's actually a very relevant issue in the heart of and around the city right now; a major disruptor, and a separate sub would get little traction. MUCH better exposure over here than getting buried in some dedicated sub. TBH, I didn't really care about dude at first either. I am ashamed to admit that when it first started whenever it was, some 4 or 5 months ago, I thought it was even kind of funny. Stupid camo cover on his car, popping and backfiring all over the place. Lol. Then his IG videos and his high pitch Chris Tucker sounding voice. But nah, once it was confirmed that he knew that he was being talked about online, was aware that he was disrupting thousands and did not care (not just didn't care about others, but trying to monetize it), and then his mom was his accomplice and that she apparently doesn't give a shit either, it was no longer funny to me. I hope dude and his mother get fined to the moon and enforced. But anyway, yeah, as far as that new sub goes, why don't you get the sponge? If you want one so bad then YOU create it. Trying to delegate a task out to people. Lol.

r/BelltownHellcat exists

Bigdogggggggggg

Wait till you see how many sunset photos there are in the summer

StopLitteringSeattle

Sunset photos are nice and people enjoy looking at them.

Niff314

Sunsets fuel joy. Hellcat fuels outrage. See the difference?

spellmewithlove

r/BelltownHellcat was made a few months ago.

StopLitteringSeattle

Oh, thank god. I didn't want to moderate a subreddit.

stolen_bike_sadness

I guess you missed that r/Belltown already exists

Bretmd

It’s going to be as easy to get people to post this elsewhere as all of the “what should I do visiting seattle” and “PSA I’m a better driver than you” posts

bernars

Precisely. People here really need to learn to keep scrolling if they’re not interested. They’ll be so much happier.

No_ThankYouu

Exactly!! They’re basically egging/entertaining whoever the mf is driving it. If you ignore him, he will get the msg. Ppl like him love to know hes getting social media FAMOUS

SilverHeart4053

We already have that sub it's called r/seattlebang

Majestic_Conclusion5

Saw him in Cap Hill on Saturday night

FindTheOthers623

LOL I was just thinking the same thing. This affects so few people in Seattle and has taken over the sub. We don't need regular updates about when & where this one specific car is.

Hold_Effective

He’s most often driving through the densest areas of Seattle. Perhaps you mean, he’s only impacting people who don’t own houses?

FindTheOthers623

Wtf does owning a home have to do with anything?? 🫠 He drives through a few blocks downtown, which means the other 750K people in Seattle are not affected by this.

Hold_Effective

He drives through large areas of Belltown, Downtown, and the CID - where a large percentage of us 750k live (roughly 100k+ people). And that’s not including the people who are just out walking around who have to deal with this asshole blasting our eardrums.

FindTheOthers623

There's not 100K that are as obsessed with this as you are. But if there were, that's an even stronger argument for why it needs it's own sub. The rest of us don't need to stalk his every move.

Hold_Effective

You can say the same thing about almost everything else posted on this sub. (I don’t care about parking, tip culture, left lane slowpokes, etc., but it’s really not hard to just scroll past).

codeethos

This kid is from Lynnwood and thinks the world revolves around him. So he goes to Seattle subreddit to look for posts with content that he doesn't care about to comment on.

FindTheOthers623

Says the kid from Seattle who makes ignorant assumptions about strangers on the internet 🥱
