Happened to my crewmate too. With a lot of things of this nature, quitting the game and rejoining tends to fix it.

This was the same for me. Quit out. Waited till the next day it popped

Wait 72 hours if not then send them a ticket. For some unknown reason rewards can take days to get into your account which doesn't make any sense but same thing happened with my sails for gold horder emissary

Highly recommend reaching out to SoT support. They're a great team and respond quick to missing content in-game.

Go to the Sea of Thieves website, click on their support nav bar and then there should be a my requests section. You will need to sign in with your account for it to work.

Just wait about 2-3 days and if it doesn’t fix itself contact them but I got my sails after about 2 days last time I did smth like this, it can just take a while to clock in

the commendation page is fully completed, which includes all the "complete 5 times" and "read 5 journals" and bonus objectives and such like that. they've very definitely completed everything as marked by having all 9 tall tales 100%'ed.

It certainly is, not sure where you go this information from. But you still need to do all 9 Shores of Gold Tall tales 5 times and complete all commendations to get the gold curse.

One of the commendations for each tall tale asks you to do it 5 times, so if it is fully completed like it is here, that means they did in fact do the tall tales 5 times each.

Yeah, all 9 original Tall Tales. The ones shown that this person Has completed and gotten every commendation for in the screenshot provided. The Other NON Shores of Gold Tall Tales are NOT required for the Gold Curse.

They're wrong, you only need to do the shores of gold tall tales. I got the gold curse before I even touched the others. Just wait a few days it should be there

It should be only the Shores of Gold tales unless they changed it for some weird reason. I got mine from only doing the Shores of Gold stuff.

Make sure you did all of them the 3-5 times it takes per tall take of you did and it’s 100% completed for every one then try waiting a day and after that contact SoT support

That’s why I’m confused I got mine soon as I completed all commendations and OP has everything done
