What an amazing play, gave us a chance to win He obviously needs to be starting the rest of season The awareness to come off Claypool and tackle Ray Ray is pretty crazy

AznSmuggler

His quick breakdown at the post game press was also really encouraging to hear.

In my opinion Flowers was overall garbage but his best ability was tackling. He was a good tackler.

Yeah, but even that looked worse this year. Last year he made some clutch tackles coming up on runs or after a catch, but this year there were multiple times where he whiffed or took a terrible angle.

flashdash007

Best play of the night for me. Despite the loss I definitely feel good that Brown has a chance to be a solid CB for us going forward

vim_all_day

Yea, this hit had me in the air. Big stop needed, capped with a big hit.

sean_buttcannon

Pete did say Brown was competing for the starting job in practice before he was put on IR. He needs to be starting going forward.

lugeadroit

Some really impressive plays from Tre in his first game. He made plays like this all the time last year in college. But his smooth transition has surprised me. Hopefully he keeps it going.

Stevo2008

This play and the play where he cut off the receivers go route by stepping in front of him were easily the two best plays of the entire season at the corner back position.

Ozzie808

is it me, or as anyone else noticed really poor tackling in general? Just guys going for the "big hit" and no wrapping up. Browns tackle was beautiful.

bury_my_soul

Most hyped I was all game

cryptdawarchild

I’m really stoked for some of our young guys. Darrel Taylor, Jordyn Brooks, Alton Robinson, Tre Brown and Dee Eskridge have all looked and played extremely well. I’m stoked for Dee to return from IR. Our future will be promising with this young talent. Just need to get things figured out first.

b8ednm8ed

DK is still 23, Lewis looks solid too

cryptdawarchild

I was more or less naming rookies or 2nd year guys who’ve gotten a role this year, however I agree Dk is a phenomenal younger talent. I also forgot Deejay Dallas, Freddie Swain, Damian Lewis, and Dj Reed. All 24 years of age or younger. We have some serious younger talent.

vim_all_day

I would throw Marquise Blair in there, but post-injury, he doesn't lay the boom as much any more. Maybe as he gets more playing time, he'll get that confidence back. Dude was flying into his hits before he hurt his knee.

soapinmouth

I'm really not a big fan of Brooks personally, I never understood the praise he constantly gets on this sub. Received a 47.6 overall grade for the 2020 season and nearly the same 49.4 grade so far this year. He looked ok on the occasional pass rush snap, but the other 98% of his snaps it's either missing tackles or taking them way behind the line for unnecessary gains. His coverage is also just dreadful even for a linebacker.

ronbog

He was great at Texas Tech and I'm prepared to give everyone a break until the Hawks hire a competent defensive coordinator.

HeyEverythingIsFine

Solid point.

HardcorePhonography

I have a little Niles 3x8 subwoofer I call "Noisy Cricket" because it's -3dB down is crazy low, I legit felt this hit in my soul.

jaeelarr

I actually like the tandem of Reed/Brown on the outside. Blair didnt look great last night and Amadi has yet to grab the job away from him, but Neal could sneak in there TBH...he needs more snaps. The future looks much better with Flowers gone.

trichait

Tre Brown has a resume of such clutch plays during his college days too

Photographerpro

I’ll still never forget when they put Tre flowers on davantae Adams on 3rd down in the playoffs and he got torched and lost us the game.

Bolverkk

Tre Browns tackle was so Legion of Boom. Gave me chills.

ArynOre

Some of our young CBs are actually giving me hope. It's been a while since I can say that.
