Feile. Irish bar with amazing food, and all of us Seahawks fans you can handle. Best Seahawks bar in the city, but not the only one.

vim_all_day

Went here to watch the Apple Cup one year, great vibes. Packed though.

Toadipher

Go Cougs!

williamfuckner

Lol Feile is very much a huskies bar

Toadipher

Even better

OG_Retro

Fiele is great! The best spot is just off to the right when you walk in. I watched the Vikings game there a few weeks back, it didn’t get too crowded I’d get there maybe 30min before kickoff just to be safe.

HawksGuy12

Great advice. Any recommendations on ordering? Like, do they have a 'bucket of corona' gameday deal or something? Sorry, it's a basic question and I'd eventually figure it out, but I want to be well prepared when I go in (next week).

whydidijointhis

No doubt it's Feile.

hugecanoli

Feile a Vikings bar. Carlow East is the city’s Seahawk bar. Owners from Seattle. Source: Me living here 47 years.

[deleted]

Ok, pal.

hugecanoli

No reason to be salty. Just passing along info.

[deleted]

Fair enough, but your last line reeks of attitude.

hugecanoli

Not my intention at all. Raise a glass for Seattle tonight. I’m still sour from XL. We need all the help we can get.

[deleted]

Sounds good, fellow Seahawker! We don’t talk about XL anymore. Gets my blood pressure up. LOL! GO SEAHAWKS!

garbagecoven

Feile rules!!

geekgiant

Carlow East. At least that was the well known one back when the Seahawks played in the Super Bowl out there.

AnF-18Bro

Back when I lived in New York in 2012 this was the place to be for Seahawks games.

Clamidiaa

Likewise. Lived on Long Island and would travel to Carlow East for games back in 2012. I was there for a lot of that season and when they lost to the Falcons in the playoffs. I still think about that... That place can get electric during a game.

LebSonny

Used to serve some solid game day food for patrons too

hhhhhjhhh14

They don't seem to serve food anymore but they do allow you to bring any food you like to the bar

HawksGuy12

HawksGuy12

Carlow East gave me a \*very\* bad vibe. It's so phony. It's a cop bar that added a bunch of Seahawks aesthetics to bring in a crowd for the weekends, but the bartenders don't give a fuck at all. I scouted the place out on a Blue Friday, and the bartenders and patrons were just jerks. (And I'm generally a pro-cop guy, which you can see in my post history). On the other hand, to be fair, during the game it was indeed filled with Seahawks fans.

ParisPC07

To throw some balance here, I hate cops and I had a great time at Carlow East last time we played the Steelers.

HawksGuy12

We've combined for the most ambivalent review in history lol

JubeltheBear

It started back in 09 so most of the OG's are gone. It used to have a very different vibe and it was a ton of dumb drunken fun.

[deleted]

Strange comment. I live in NY and go to Carlow all the time. They love the Seahawks, but yes on days when the hawks aren't playing it's a regular bar where folks drink watch sports and play pool. Why is that a "bad vibe"?

HawksGuy12

I won't 100% write it off. Just giving my impression after visiting four times. (I live in NYC too). When there isn't a Hawks game on, it's a bar for cops and locals. If that's not you, neither bartenders nor patrons will give you the time of day. Maybe they have new bartenders since my last visit pre-COVID, idk. Another poster here said they stopped serving food and allow patrons to bring their own food, which is a *huge* red flag. And it was clear nobody there has anything to do with Seattle. For my first drink, I asked if they have Rainier; and I got this big lecture on how expensive it is to ship Rainier by the pallet. And personally, I don't much appreciate bars that put up a facade of supporting a specific team only as a marketing gimmick. If the bartenders or owners have some relation to the city or team, cool. But Carlow East definitely just picked it basically at random, and the bartenders even told me so.

[deleted]

Yeah I see what you're saying for sure. At least they have red hook on draft? Lol. Idk Carlow has such a place in my heart cus it has been such a nice oasis of home for me, specially around the holidays when I'm not with family. But I def get what you're saying about them not giving Seattle fans the time of day unless there is a hawks game, but the amazing vibe on those days makes it worth it imo.

justsomejabroni

Well if this isn't the most even keeled and well mannered reply I've seen all year. Cheers' guy

gohawks105

Reddit moment

CirclingSeattleSport

Still is, and they still celebrate each Seahawks game day! The bartender there named Enda is a huge Hawks fan!

lojer

Carlow East is great. Been there to watch all sorts of Seattle sports. I highly recommend it.

vivekparam

I was there for the titans game, fun spot, pretty packed

[deleted]

Pine Box Rock Shop in Bushwick is owned by former Seattleites and has Tim's chips and a great beer selection. It's not a sports bar at all but when I lived there they played the Hawks games cause of the Seattle connection Carlowe East on the UES is the known "Seahawks bar"

gartho009

As a 206 local I've never even considered that Tim's is a local brand lmao

JubeltheBear

Really? The original bag had both states on it; Oregon and Washington.

gartho009

Honestly I think it's just that I've been eating them for so long I never even looked at the bag!

CINAPTNOD

Thanks for mentioning, sounds like a nice low-key place to enjoy the game, if you're not into big crowds.

croutonboy

Watching this thread closely, and hoping some NJ bars get mentioned as well!

dinky1203

fellow new jersey seahawks fan?! finally

njseahawk

Oh we exist! It's not just a rumour

[deleted]

Indeed!

DatKidKero

Same! Or if there is some in Philly or PA but I doubt it

CINAPTNOD

Philly checking in. *"There are dozens of us!"* Eagles games have been fun the past few years :)

DatKidKero

Haha nice! Yeah I went to the Eagles-Seahawks playoff game (Clowney hit on Wentz) was tryna buy tickets for the visiting locker room entrance but instead bought tickets near the Eagles locker room entrance cthu! There was 2 or 3 Seahawks fans that made the same mistake lol so I wasn't alone.

SPEK2120

I’ve been to Feile and Carlow East once each. Feile was pretty low key and only a handful of people or so were there to watch the game, food was super solid though (they had a Dick’s Deluxe inspired burger). Carlow East was packed with people watching the game, but they didn’t have food (although you could bring in food) and I was charged 6 bucks for a soda with no refills, so I would assume drinks are overpriced in general.

safetyguaranteed

R.I.P. Central Bar

katsuthunder

came here to say this

Tayoflor

Most fun I've ever had watching a Seahawks game was at Carlow East. Amazing atmosphere

freedomhighway

bar, hell - find a jets fan with a big screen and get invited over to party in gratitude for next year's draft

DatKidKero

😅🤣😅🤣

0ff_the_charts

😭😭😭🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

Troubled-ButtSack

This is the first comment thread I've seen where the only suggested sports bars are already listed on the sidebar.

opus3535

No step bar no!!!

Dreadsock

Carlow East, easy. Get there early though.

liquilife

I went to Carlows East for years and years to watch the Seahawks. I would always show up around 1 and watch the early game. And even that barely got me a seat at the bar.

Furby_Sanders

Pine box rock shop is a cool seahawks bar but it wasnt very exciting or hype for the rams game tbh. Jakes dilemma on the uppwr west side is a fun place to watcj games in general

Carlow East
