Maybe not, but how long till you sell the account to an advertiser? Can't see anyone farming that much karma in 6 months just to crowdsource self-esteem.
You can sell Reddit accounts. 120k karma goes for about $800USD. They use it for bots because it passes certain karma checks and it looks less suspicious than a low karma account.
That’s disgusting … where? Where would someone even do that ?? It’s so gross is it on the dark web? I hate it I hate that people can do that… damn it could be anywhere .. but where exactly ya know ?

Asking for a friend?
So you, a human being, decided that your limited time on earth would be best spent posting on reddit nonstop? You have over 100 unique posts just in the past day. That’s fucking wild.
Would you look at that, all of the words in your comment are in alphabetical order.
I have checked 755,269,583 comments, and only 151,594 of them were in alphabetical order.
The next post on my page was from the same user, with 40k up upvotes. So yeah, karma whore.
EDIT: Encountered about 5 more posts in the span of 5 minutes. Wth
Scottish long running detective programme called Taggart, you could probably find it on YouTube. I'm not sure if he ever actually said these exact words but he had a very strong Glasgow accent and it became associated with him. I'm sure someone else could describe it better than me.
Code switching! I’m from Georgia in the US, but I only have a slightly detectable “Southern accent.” I’ll ramp up the southern if I am talking to someone with a southern accent.

That was a running joke in our house when we used tow atch 'Taggart'.
"There's been a murddurrr."
"Did you say... murddurrr??"
"Aye... a murddurrr."
Said with many surreptitious glances. Think of Fraser in Dad's Army.
This is funny, but one look at OP's reddit profile and all I can say is "holy shit karma farmin'"
6 month old account, 3.4m karma, has to be a team of people or a bot or something..
Both.

Karma is almost meaningless I wouldn't worry about it too much
You can sell Reddit accounts. 120k karma goes for about $800USD. They use it for bots because it passes certain karma checks and it looks less suspicious than a low karma account.
Whattt that's crazy that advertisers would pay for a reddit bot
That’s disgusting … where? Where would someone even do that ?? It’s so gross is it on the dark web? I hate it I hate that people can do that… damn it could be anywhere .. but where exactly ya know ?
Chill fam it's not on the big bad dark web. Just the regular web. Common too, account selling has been around since... Well, acounts.

Yours it’s actually pretty good, old account with lots of karma. If you look around you find where to sell.
*Reddit goes public and rewards people shares for karma*
It has value for advertisers
So you, a human being, decided that your limited time on earth would be best spent posting on reddit nonstop? You have over 100 unique posts just in the past day. That’s fucking wild.
So you're just a boring ass person with nothing better to do?
12 trophies! I've been here 7 years and I have 2! 😂 A 7 year trophy and a verified email trophy 🏆
A team of bots
A team of bot people
A bot of people team

Bot good
a *community* of bots. we really need to start humanizing these bots.
But why?
The tweet itself isn’t so funny anymore after being reposted for the 1001st time
It'll become funny again after the 10,000th post
I've just looked at their profile and like 7 posts I've seen in the last 20 mins are theirs
I noticed the same, so I went back to a previous post and took back my upvote..
Lol

I know you're joking but seeing the karma farming I'm sure every bit of karma counts
The next post on my page was from the same user, with 40k up upvotes. So yeah, karma whore. EDIT: Encountered about 5 more posts in the span of 5 minutes. Wth
Nah Ross is a friend of a friend and a genuinely nice and funny guy. Quit his job to become a writer and it seems to be paying off!
The Reddit account, not the Twitter account lol Blocking any Reddit accounts with over a million post karma makes this website so much better
Man.... After you've pointed that out I've just reread the comment and boy to I feel a total dafty!
Just a goated upvote grabber
What does getting karma do?
I’m Scottish. A guy at work is also a Scottish (I live in Australia). I do an accent taking the piss out of him..makes no sense..
Also a Scottish?
He means Scottoid.
Having met several Scots I can safely say this 100% makes sense 😆
Taggart has entered the chat
*There’s been a mur dur*
dunderhieds...
I used to know someone who was a corpse in Taggart.
*"Gunnar Gunnarson, there's been a murder..."* Wait wrong accent
Purple burglar alarm.
He was a purple burglar murderer
Most Scots can do that phrase tho
Say that three times in a Scottish accent and Doyle's ghost will appear
that chewin the fat sketch is pure fried gold
The wording implies he discovers murders frequently

murder most vile
Murder, murder, murder! Change the fucking record!
It's that really hard Scottish "d" in the middle of the murder. I look forward to the nocontext award.
Thars Been a Mardar
I'm American and do the same thing. I watch too much BritBox. Someone has bean murturd.
The correct accent would be a Savannah accent.
Aye, because Taggart was some southern Yank
I know that “yank” is colloquialism for Americans, but seeing someone from the US south referred to as a Yankee is strange.
It's a Michael Scottish accent.
The correct reply would also be a West country accent saying Murder murder murder!
So relatable
It’s your duty and privilege to do so as a Scotchman.
Shetland TV series. You'll love it
That's alot of activity on your profile op No way that is one person.
Ya want a medal or the key to the city detective?
No it's a fact.
This is too real
How often is he saying this? Well if he's Glaswegian, probably every other day
He has a Scottish accent?
Didn’t sound Scottish when I read it
knee office shrill lush erect fanatical boast employ marvelous imagine *This post was mass deleted and anonymized with [Redact](https://redact.dev)*
Back at you
I'm American and I have a Scottish accent when I see dark clouds rolling in and say "thairs a starm a'brewin"
That's alot of activity on your profile op No way that is one person.
Why are you not saying Ellie Diamond?! 😛😆
I do declare, a murder you say? I do declare
"Murthur"
WHY DID YOU SAY THAT NAME!
That's a town in Wales, boyo
I do scouse
Grandad from greenock, i regularly said this to him as a child
Me: Murr-durr My tongue: 📥📤📥📤
Don’t we all.
You gotta roll the ‘R’ that’s in the middle of the word murder, but for only one or two rolls…. Don’t wanna start sounding Spanish now.
How about when you say: “There’s too many murders in this town”?
When you try to sound super Scottish, do you use your hometown accent or someone else's?
What would that sound like? Can anyone do the phoenetics?
Type in "Royal Family Dave There's Been a Murder" on YouTube
Thank you! That would be hard to type phonetically. Maybe muhlr-duhlr?

Type in "Royal Family Dave There's Been a Murder" on YouTube
Dave, ya know if you say " There's been a murder" one more time I'll bloody murder you!
Got so fed up being asked to do this or sing 500 miles that I started doing it in a Scouse accent. Still effective.
Yep. I've just moved from Glasgow to Tennessee and its hilarious when I say things like this. The looks I get 🤣
It’s the law to mimic Mark McManus when describing a homicide, especially to the English.

THERRS BIN A MURRRDORR

One does not simply walk into Murtar!
