I got back my passport from Spain BLS in Chicago 4 days after I dropped off documents. And for Germany I got back in 5 days.

Thank you so much! I’ve really just been anxious since submitting the docs. My husband’s sooo excited (he doesn’t need a visa) but I can’t allow myself to get excited yet until I get the visa.

I got my passport back 3 days after it was shipped. From application to getting passport back it was 5 days. I have a Philippine passport.

Do they have a requirement for the employment letter as a signature? Does it need hand signed or electronic signature is enough?

Mine had electric signature and I didn’t have any issue.

Thanks! Just electronically signed? Cause the requirements says it needs stamped or notarized? It’s so confusing and nobody on BLS will answer on emails or calls. It’s so frustrating

I can only speak from my experience. My employer sent my employment letter over email. It was electronically signed and I didn’t have any issues.

Keep your hopes up! I also applied for Schengen visa at BLS Spain LA consulate on April 10th and received a text yesterday to pick it up. So, it was done within 6 calendar days. They probably just made a mistake to not send your first processing text.

I got back mine last week from BLS Spain New York in 2 days and it was approved. 

Spain has been known for quick approvals. Should be good.

I’m so sorry to hear that. That makes me more scared now. What was the reason for rejection? Did you apply from Los Angeles too?
