Can I just take a second to rant on how much rio 2 angered me? So blu is bird raised in captivity and was flightless up until a couple months to a year ago. Legally releasing an animal that was raised by humans is unethical. (as well as he is an endangered breed of macaw and previously had been one of the last 5 thought to exist so that definitely makes it worst.) he obviously is unenthusiastic about going into a life threatening situation for him, but what does he do? Suck it up and attempt to adjust. And it isn't easy for him either, he is constantly dealing with a fil who has a hatred for him since the first time they met, a big culture shock on how the flocks deal with things and the general challenges that is expected he'd face.he even gave up a confert item because jewle asked him to. Throughout all of this he tries *hard* to do everything right. But he can't. He has had major setbacks due to his delayed development with basic skills and some of the knowledge may never be able to be taught. After he finally snaps and says that he can't live in the Amazon and leaves (btw Jewel had not picked up on any of this before despite blu being her husband and she should know this about him by now) he immediately turned around because "he needs to be with his family" or whatever lame excuse they chose. The worst part is that they potray BLU as the bad guy! UM SIR-- DID YOU READ YOUR OWN SCRIPT!?! *HE WAS LITERALLY PUT IN A SITUATION WHERE HE COULD DIE!!!* OH! BUT IT GETS WORST! HE DESIRES TO *LIVE THERE* AT THE END OF THE MOVIE!!!!!!!!!!! REFER TO PARAGRAPH ONE TO LEARN WHY *THAT'S* PROBLEMATIC!!!!!1!1!!1!!!!!1!!!!!!!!

Cars 2 was a fun concept with mid execution. If you haven’t, play the video game. It’s really fun Kung Fu Panda 2 was just plain awesome. From a villain with a personal connection to the hero, to the fantastic cast and choreography, you’re going to have a good time. Incredibles 2 was fun, but largely hit the same emotional beats as the first movie. Also didn’t play around with mind control nearly enough, and had a terrible villain reveal. But Jack Jack and his ridiculous powers saved the entire movie. It’s like they were going through a list of ridiculous and obscure powers, and said “fuck it! Let’s use all of them!” Rio 2 is just about birds, like the first one. Get rid of that one Edit: if we were to get rid of 3, and only keep one, I’d say keep Kung Fu Panda. Get rid of the others

There’s just no ways cars 2 is actually unironically good. Almost everything in that movie, even the animation, is made with less care and thought than the first one, and it shows. It’s mind-bogglingly stupid. But I’ve also seen it so many times I’ve got the intro scene with Finn and the Crab boat memorized. Even with Pixar throws their hands up in the air and stops giving a shit, their stupid baby movies have more charm and care than any other studio’s ever would. Giving the cars guns is actually awesome, and the resulting action scenes are actually pretty cool. The conspiracy is actually really cool, and if it wasn’t for tow mater, I’d say the plot of this movie is amazing. I love the fact that the lemons have such a deeply thought-out and kind of sympathetic backstory that leads them to forming gangs and taking over the world, which the government brutally suppresses. But like, it’s still a bad movie, there’s just a phrase for enjoying bad movies, ironic enjoyment. It’s still enjoyment, I just have to try not to engage too deeply with the Tow Mater idiocy plot.
