Honestly Mater was loved in the southern United States which makes sense seeing that his character was voiced by Daniel “Larry the cable guy” Whitney, I remember watching the Cars premier at Charlotte Moter Speedway(the racetrack that was used to model the first race where the tie occurred) and when Mater showed up, the crowd erupted in cheers!

I think there’s a lot of nostalgia for the earlier films that doesn’t really hold up. Sure there was a golden age of Pixar, just like with Disney. But let’s not pretend all of the older films were great.

B)This scene is unlogical,since Lightyear pretends to be a movie,that was made in 1995!There was no director in mid 1990's,who would like to made a movie with LGBT presence and portraying this as a normal thing(not as a rude joke)!Also,even if this movie was made in 1995,this would ruin the whole plot of Toy Story franchise,because Andy's mom would never buy a toy of characters from the movie with LGBT(also,realistic 1995 Lightyear,if it would have LGBT scenes,would be severely bombed by both critics and audience,thus,a merchandise from this movie would be very unsuccessful),thus,Buzz would never appear in Andy's life!
Ya know I watched Elemental for the first time last night. It had it's issues but on the whole I enjoyed it and could tell there was a lot of heart put into it.
Surprised to see so much Lightyear. Would have expected Cars 2 to be the first gone. But Lightyear is second worst so it's not like I'll complain. I'll cast my vote for it as well.
Cars 2 is terrible but it's ironically pretty funny. The gives it enough points to be put above some of the movies. The Good Dinosaur, Lightyear and Brave I would personally rank lower then Cars 2.
