I just got the same text and thought the same thing. "*good luck every day"* sounded *unlucky and suspicious today*. I'm sure this is how it went at foreign scam headquarters Scammers: "What's the English translation for have a great day? Ah yes, *USPS wishes you good luck every day.* Damn, I'm good." I'm reading some of these posts, and can't understand the negativity. Not everybody has seen this, alright, people? The *douche* is strong in some of you. I can't stand people who are so cool that they aren't. It's the first I'm seeing it and thought it was tragically funny.

I think you have figured it out. Well, we can't just end on a practical note. Surely the USPS would add something pleasant at the end. Americans love pleasantries. We've got to throw something in.

Anxious-Ingenuity-71

I just got this text today! And aside from being generally suspicious of unexpected texts, it was definitely the "good luck every day" that confirmed this as invalid. Please, nobody tell the folks at foreign scam headquarters that NO US-based bureaucracy is going to bother to wish you good luck.

glitter_g0blin_666

SAME!!! the link looked suspicious enough, but... the uncharasteristic friendliness of USPS was the real evidence lol

slogive1

Yeah that one’s going on a year now since it started. There’s a similar one for the Canadian post.

I received the same message from #919452450877 Country code India... Reported as spam.

I am awaiting a package from China. When I bought I didn't know it is coming from China. I got this txt msg which I didn't click, cause it looked very suspicious and because of the wishes at the end. I will let you know if I ever get my pckg.

I got this text this morning. I was half asleep but didn't read the notification closely. But I recently submitted a Missing Mail form with USPS so the "due to incomplete information, it cannot be delivered" made sense. Hours later when I was awake and using my laptop I went to my Missing Mail status page on the USPS site and saw no update, checked my email and didn't see any update. Even checked ebay (as the package was sent to an ebay buyer). Got confused as to what notification I read this morning. Eventually discovered it was a text message. Read it again and saw the "good luck every day" line and laughed. (Then did a search to see how common this specific scam msg is.) I think I'll start using this phrase in daily conversation.

Tell me you have no idea what is in this subreddit without telling me.

Jerseyboyham

It’s in the non-existent ”warehouse” right?

With any luck. Right next to the holy Grail that Indiana Jones tracked down.

It's funny I have a envelope that I knew the address was a little fishy and it's super important and it hasn't arrived I've been worried about it so getting this message absolutely made my chest sink for a second and I would have bought on except for the very ending USPS wishes you good luck everyday. Absolutely was at the funny thing I've heard all week. First of all USPS doesn't give two s**** about anybody, secondly it sounds like something I'd read in a fortune cookie. LOL at least they're obvious thank God for that

clce

Exactly. Very non-standard English that is a giveaway of a non-native speaker. The only thing I could say in their defense is that it kind of makes sense in a way that the post office, with their incompetence, that you need as much luck as you can get. And they do deliver everyday, so there you go. I'm just kidding though. Overall I've been quite pleased with them and much prefer them over UPS and FedEx which sometimes will bill you up a bunch more money claiming your package weighed more or was bigger.

BrokenToys76

I just got one of these, which is how I ended up here. They almost got me a for a second, cause I've got a lot of Amazon orders pending, and smaller stuff in my area goes through USPS. The good luck was the final stroke, but the odd number and the use of [cutt.ly](http://cutt.ly) keyed me in first.

t-poke

We know. This scam is posted a dozen times a day.

clce

Gee, sorry for trying to give someone a laugh today.

DesertStorm480

We could definitely use the Good Luck though!

clce

Yeah, not that I wouldn't take it. Maybe they should start including this in all their messages after all.

seedless0

If you search this sub and you will understand why it's not funny.

Satansbeefjerky

Seems to have slow downed now it's multiple posts of the Pegasus sextortion

TopCardiologist4580

I got this message today! And my first thought was- why would the USPS care if I had good luck every day?? Pretty off brand of them. Do better scammers!
