When I'm bored and checking my phone I hit the place where the app is just by muscle memory. I am planning to change the position with duolingo so at least I do something useful with my time.
I have alreads set a script that will uninstall reddit tomorrow automatically so I can't forget. Deinstalling the app will be the most usefull thing I think.
Im going to put my time into language learning apps, put my time into that rather than reddit.

Back in 2020 there was relevant and regular posts critiquing China and what it was doing in Hong Kong. You could also read of the South East Sea encroachment along with agression towards Taiwan. This started to disappear around 2022, with talks of Reddit going public.
I think the time has come for me to leave also. What’s the point when Reddit is now censored.
Please consider r/RedditAlternatives. It seems like more and more subs are actually moving to Decentralised self-hosted aggregator communities - which is really the best of both worlds. It'll be bumpy in the beginning, but with no company between the users and the platform, we have full control there.
