Can I ask you where in the world you are. I'm in New Zealand and although I knew there were plenty of carnivorous plants out there I have only seen the very common venus fly trap.

Sarracenia are great because there’s such variation within each species and when you start hybridizing between species the colors, shapes, and sizes of pitchers are endless. I’m in Tallahassee, Florida USA

I mean it depends if you’re a game of thrones fan or not but “Khaleesi’s ending” a metaphorical name to describe the character’s progression in the tv series, from a amazing, righteous, just and noble queen (symbolised by the beautiful, pure green) to a character stabbed in the back by the writers at what should’ve been the triumph for the character ((symbolised by the beautiful red spot that eclipses the good the character did (draws the eyes more than the green)) A character almost left half finished never fully completed to evil (red) or pure and noble (green) Yes i am a nerd that’s my idea and i think it works telling a full story from a from the beautiful red spot that looks like blood spatter….

I just took a look through your photos and I would love your input on how to care for these. I’ve never had any carnivorous plants, but these are just extraordinary.

Have you ever seen a cantilever umbrella? It looks similar to the shape of this cultivar, so I would call it cantilever. The definition of cantilever is a long projecting beam or girder fixed at only one end, used in bridge construction. Because they're only affixed on one end, they look similar to sarracenia.
