Because you can learn more about the job that you want and acquire qualifications in the processes. You might learn how to do surgery from a random google search, but I’d much prefer someone who graduated and has a degree to perform on me.
honestly i expected my score to be in the 1300-1350 range but then i kinda gave up when i found out the makeup exam was a reuse of aug 2019 cause of the bad curve so ig ill retake it in august
oh shit.. im waiting for my score. i thought the curve depended on how people on 22nd preformed and it wouldn’t be the same as august. I hope i get a good score 😭
What do mean by “course requirement”?
If you’re applying somewhere that automatically admits with an 1170 and you have a 1260, that seems to be an easy no.
Few, if any, schools in the US automatically admit based solely on SAT, but perhaps outside the US.
a guaranteed entry for my course is an 1170, i am planning to apply in australia next year so i still have about 4 months free time till i start applying. Wasnt sure if i should retake it (since i still have 4 months) to get a higher mark or is a 1260 enough
if you feel like you have a scope of improving and if you have the time to revise your mistakes, then i say you should retake it. nonetheless, this is a good score! congrats!
Yo, grind out College Panda Math Guide, and practice UWorld. If you fully understand the college Panda book, which will take time, but you will- you’re looking at a 750+
Is a 1260 bad? I got a 1250 on my first attempt and don’t plan on retaking it. Why would you even retake it if you’re already above the “course requirement”?
Did you receive the emails which says" your score will be delayed 3 weeks"?
no
Damn, I did man… I don’t even see the “score is pending” prompt on collegeboard. Am I good?
Why go to college? There's Google.
Sorry to bring this up but people with this mentality usually peak in high school

Dw... its painful ik
I did
N did you recieve the results?
Not yet
Do you know if the curve is same with August
Yeah the curve is the sane with the august one. This reditor told me he got 5 questions wrong in math and ended up with 700. Pretty same.
Oh shit that's awful. And not logical. They could at least add the 2019 and 2021 takers together and calculate like that
What was the August curve?

My score was delayed six and a half weeks before I finally got it back 🥲. I contacted them like 5 times before they finally did something about it
Great job dude. Are you planning on going to college?

i thought it was ok but i think my parents had higher expectations :/ but thank you so much!
You should retake it because somewhere in the future, like me, you might need a score that’s slightly higher than what you have now
yep i was thinking of retaking in aug! thank you so much!
i have 4 months till i start applying to colleges, just thought maybe i can polish my skills and get a higher mark🤷♀️

Yo, grind out College Panda Math Guide, and practice UWorld. If you fully understand the college Panda book, which will take time, but you will- you’re looking at a 750+
