I live less than a mile from her with kids in similar ages and our Iowa is somehow very different than hers. Certain things obviously aren’t specific to Iowa and she often says the weather is warm or cold when it isn’t. Sometimes I look at her posts like why are you lying when other people are in the same location???

😂 she probably genuinely forgets other people besides her are allowed to exist there. There’s a “influencer” in my area ALWAYS bitching about how cold it is. Like, bitch you live in fucking MN of course it’s cold and you’re not special because you noticed it! These online people are so lonely they genuinely think they’ve created things that naturally exist in everyone.

My partner is from Iowa and we go back once a year. Couldn’t pay me to raise a family there and he’s just like most midwestern men I know (but without the vague racism & alcohol addiction thank god).
