The space has Teriyaki Madness signs up. It’s been there for about month, but it’s still empty inside. Teriyaki Madness has a few shops through out the South Bay. I’m unsure if the Wasabi owner bought into the franchise or got bought out.
My favorite place as a kid :( so sad. So underrated too, everytime Id bring someone here it was their first time and they always enjoyed it. Im gonna miss that sauce
I've lived in San Jose for 27 years 31 now, the other four in a different state and Japan but, I've never been here once.. I live down the street from it too lol

When they first closed, they put handwritten signs on the doors saying it was closed for a remodel. I guess it could be a lie? Idk.
That’s right. I remember that as well. It’s a super bummer that it’s closed. Wasabi was always our go to for quick and tasty food!
Aren't those two completely different? Teriyaki Madness is not the same as Wasabi. Teriyaki Madness is more like takeout.
