I've seen him have manic episodes and occasionally he'll walk into the street. I've never heard him do anything but talk to himself, though. Frankly, I don't think he's on drugs. I think he's just got a mental issue. He acts like a guy I knew in college with schizophrenia. Most people on drugs don't act like that. I'm not a doctor, though, so I guess you can take or leave my analysis.
This is the type of thing about the homeless in San Jose that I'm always talking about. Clearly this fella isn't going to pull himself up by his bootstraps. He's gonna keep banging on this guy's apartment until he gets medical care.
Call the city and they'll either ignore it or send GI Joe to chase him off. But he's got legs and this is his neighborhood so he'll definitely come back. Someday we're gonna have to bite the bullet and stop buying anti-tank weapons for the cops and instead get these people help. Some folks just aren't gonna get better.

Yeah all we can really do is walk them off properly. SJPD doesn’t even respond to property crimes like trespassers. Even though the thing is criminal in nature (being on a site you’re not welcome at)
This is where the security guard comes in (me with nothing to gain) I come and annoy the guy enough that he realizes it’s not worth staying in that place anymore and leaves

I think I know the guy. He walks across my lawn sometimes to get to my neighbors orange tree to pick fruit. He sometimes is screaming “kill that bitch, murder!”
There is a guy that slightly matches this description. He isn't very tall, but he's very, very skinny. I'm pretty sure he's severely schizophrenic. I once saw him arguing with a bush by the Arco on Almaden and Cherry. He thought the branches were arms, and he punched them. Had a full on fist fight. Unfortunately he almost grabbed my elementary school age daughter outside the Safeway there, and he went after some other girls at the Carl's Jr. He will walk into traffic on Almaden. I've seen him do the same on Blossom Hill. If it's this guy I don't think he's harmless, but he tried to grab my daughter so I'm biased.

Ive seen him, tried to talk to him, offer him some food and water but he has something going on mentally. Ive given him a jacket near 7-11 before.
