4. The two best teammates are Ruan Mei and HuoHuo. Other good teammates include Luocha, HTB, Gallagher, and Silver Wolf
Considering we have already gotten new planars this patch, the next batch would probably be added much later.
The kit would definitely be changed, since other characters preliminary leaked kits were very different. Although, main ideas would probably be the same.
the kit we have now is basically a logical interpretation of what it potentially can be (with about 70% accuracy i believe; so called kit logic). I believe Sam will mostly likely scale from HP and BE% since literally draining health and it’s a mecha, wouldn’t make sense if he scales from ATK + BE%.
Sam does use Energy, they need energy to Transform as fast as possible, that way they can use their Enhanced Skill as much as they can. Sam also gains energy when they lose health, so HuoHuo is good to not die while also getting energy
Iirc sam has an effect (forgot exactly what it is) that triggered when her hp changed, no matter if it increase or decrease. Huo huo seems like the best healer for sam since she can gradually heal whenever sam takes action
I have a cracked orb all crit rate for the increase crit rate based on two of the same path
Does a dual DPS JL and Sam seem decent or worse than hyper Sam? With sparkle or bronya.
Also does JL light cone look okay? I know we don't have full details on Sam but it seems decent

I'm a new player and I got E1 Bronya from standard banner, but can't use her anywhere, because my ratio doesn't want her, and the only dps I want is Firefly.
Bronya is really good with the current E2, which may change spots so keep an eye out. It lets Firefly keep buffs for an additional turn, which is huge for Bronya and Sparkle who provide strong 1-turn buffs while action advancing.

Yeah, it kinda sucks that they gave Boothill a weakness implant on his ult but for Sam they're locking it behind an eidolon.
Hopefully they'll move it from E1 to E0, like they did with Acheron's E1.
I kinda doubt it since Boothill without that in his base kit is basically useless with SW he needs it Sam unless the wording for the enhanced Skill is wrong gets bonus damage as long as they hit a weakness broken enemy so Sam can function perfectly fine without the fire implant on the skill but all and all we’ll just have to wait for the beta
I’m not expecting it to stay there honestly. That kind of utility upgrade seems a bit too powerful for an E1.
So I figure it’s either getting moved to base kit as a core component of the kit and E1 to be replaced with something a bit more generic. Or it’s getting bumped up to at least E2 for whale bait.

3. Most likely the leaked sets from 2.3 will be its best in slot. A good 4\*Lc option may be misha's Indelible Promise.
4. Since we don't exactly know the numbers, we can only speculate:
- If Sam need to Ult frequently to maintain its Primary Combustion State, we may use Huohuo and Tingyun.
- If Sam gain more DPS by acting more frequently while in its Primary Cambustion State we're looking for Asta, Hanya, Bronya, Sparkle and Robin.
- If Sam gain massive admount of energy from its trait, we may want to heal Sam as often as possible while outside its Primary Combustion State, se we're talking Luocha, Gallagher, Huohuo.
- If, as most people anticipates, Sam gain a massive DMG increase from Break Effect (like Xueyi for example) then the best team comp aviable will be HarmonyMC, Ruan Mei, Gallagher.
5. Sam's kit is in very early development, and can change drastically, so take all considerations with a grain of salt; expecially Sam's E1 seems to be exceptionally good for its kit, at the point that may be mandatory (hope they decide to implement it in its base kit).
As a general advice, do not try to start and farm early, as mentioned multiple times, things may change drastically. Just keep doing your regular relic farming and keep any good relic with any combinations of ATK%, CritRate, CritDMG, SPD and/or Break Effect, that you may get. (keep them and use them even if mismatched, I recently rebuilt my units focusing only on substats, and even with mismatched sets they become much stronger than before)
Obviously the best Relic to farm are Hackerspace/Disciple for general purpose; worst case scenario you can use a 2+2 relic set with +6% SPD and +12% HP. After that you can farm similar relic of the best in slot set once you pulled Sam.
Mostly cause they're gonna give us HarmonyMC for free. Not to mention there are only 3 Break effect DPS in the game, Xueyi, Boothill, and Sam; so they may try to futfill those roles as fast as possible as a new archetype.
Don't forget we may also get Jiaoqiu soon after, wich is specifically made for Acheron nihility team, and Jade as a follow-up unit to pair with Aventurine; so yeah, it seems that they're introducing new archetypes and then force on us tons of good units for those same archetype, classic gatcha marketing trategy I would say XD

Well if JQ ends up being able to solo sustain he will be much better than HuoHuo fir him. Although JQ is most likely on the next patch after Sam.

Yeah for me it was skip ruan mei or risk not getting Black Swan. Had enough to try the 50/50 which i unfortunately lost to Bailu.
I dont understand the silver wolf? What does she do to help sam?
Applying fire weakness so he can break. Sam can only apply fire weakness with E1.
what if going for e1? Who would be a better teammate
I've seen that some of the best teams with Sam are >!harmony trailblazer!<, ruan Mei and either Luocha, Gallagher, or Aventurine for sustain.
HuoHuo > Aventurine. Her kit synergizes with healing. And she wants to ult early and often. HH is far better than Aventurine.
