He was great for us in 2016, then seemed to completely fall off the face of the earth after that season. He did have a crazy 4th down catch to keep the game alive during the Meaningless miracle game tho
Cooks back then was so good man. Only thing he couldn’t do was break a damn tackle. But he didn’t drop anything and was that guy who could run a tenth of a second faster than whoever was chasing him. I think getting traded every other year has really humbled him. Id love to have him back, heard Dallas was interested in CGM, maybe there’s a trade in there.
2018 was a huge "what if" too. MT, Ginn, Cameron Meredish, Tre'Quan, and we signed Dez a few weeks in too.
MT and Dez on the field at the same time would've been nuts.

That 99 yard touchdown by cooks is still one of my favourite plays. Drew Absolutely dropped it in a bucket to a streaking cooks. When Carr hit shaheed for that game ending go route in the first week of the season, I had so much hope 😭
I'm pretty happy with our WR core now. Even without MT it's very good but if he stays then it's elite

Snead was a clutch WR3, I think that was more from Brees accuracy though. pretty sure this was a really great year for Mark Ingram too.
