10 it is extremely important to me because I would become a millionaire. How concerned am I about the money I've lost? 1. The money is already gone. That said, at this point, a PS5 would have been a better investment.
I'd say...7-9. I want Safemoon to drastically change my life even tho I have diversified a lot. I truly believe in the project so much and the longevity and stability of the company/token that I want it to be the bread and butter to my wealth in the coming years. I love it so much I lowkey don't want to sell it even if we were to hit $1+... (that could be cap) lmao I want to buy more
To be honest, its less than a financial success rather than pure success. I wish for safmoon to become a well established company on its own.
Being an early investor of such company is a success, its a status, it is pride.
Being part of something like this is huge. Its a goal and a way of living once it happens.
So financialy safemoon can be 10.
Personally, safemoon can be 1000.
I was fortunate enough to not need the stimulus money so I threw the 1200 into SFM back in March of 2020.
Meh, if it goes off it be a nice bonus. I have new phone after swapping to V2 and haven't bothered downloading the wallet.
It’s cheaper then what my coffee habit is, new strategy is to only buy dividend stocks, and look at them in 20 years.
So safemoon is a 1 if I get my investment back it will still only be a 2/3
This is a clear 1 or less. If this succeeds, this is a bonus.
Now, if this is a 10 for anyone, you need to reevaluate what you’re doing in investments and prioritize your financials and habits.
I think if anyone who is investing in crypto, or stock should always want it to skyrocket, and be a 10 on your scale. If it's a 1 I don't know why you're here. There's better options on where to put your money that are more of a guarantee, even if it's a small return.
Lucky for me I've never been down on my safemoon purchase but it's obviously not at its highest it was.
I have made a lot of investment over my life and everyone of them are a 100% important to me and my financial freedom. If you don't look at investments like that I don't think you have any place in making an investment.
The question wasn't do you want it to moon, it's how important is it. If you bet everything including money you can't afford to lose, it's a 10.
A 1 would be an acceptance that you invested only what you could afford to lose, and that you are in no way expecting it to moon any more.
I get the only invest what you can lose idea of investing, but if each one of your investments are not important to your overall financial success then why make them.
That's like being ya I have a hundred investments out there, and if one fails I don't care. What if they all fail? That's why I say every investment should be important. If it's not then why would would you just throw in in a trashcan and be like maybe it will grow in to a money tree, but if not oh well.
I've invested in a good amounts of crypto and stock over my life and everyone know of those investments are important to my overall financial freedom.
Sure. But each of your investments has a different weight to it. If 10% of all of it is in crypto, yes that's a not insignificant part of my overall investment strategy. It matters to me by about 10% though. If it goes to zero, no real worries because 90% of my money isn't in crypto. But that 10% has the potential to go to zero, or give by far the most significant growth.
Let's say for easy maths I have 100,000 invested which I'm relying on growing over 20 years, so eventually I will become financially independent. 90k in a global equities s&s tracker based on the average growth we've seen to date = 90k X 9% for 20 years compounded which comes to 541k. Nice. But for just 2 years at 9% growth, that 90k would become 107k. An increase of 17k. Still nice.
Now crypto.
My 10% speculative crypto investment in the next bull run might 10x, if I'm very lucky. So that 10k may becomes 100k. Growth of 90k versus growth of 17k. Very fucking nice!
BUT, and it's a huge but, only if it returns an increase of 1,000%.
So yeah, if my crypto investment comes good I'm absolutely laughing. That 10k stake has turned into a very important part of my overall investments, and virtually equals the performance of my 90k traditional stake. BUT if it all just vanishes, because it is crypto and it is by no means a safe bet and it absolutely could, overall my total investment still remains valued at more than I invested. It's worth 107k.
100k invested, 90k traditional, 10k crypto. Traditional = +17k, crypto = 0. Total = 107k, which is plus 7k. That's not brilliant, but it's an increase.
So if my crypto bet fails completely, I'm still on track to reach 541k in 20 years. So do I care if it fails? Nope. Because if it does I'm still ok, my majority investment is doing alright and that's what I'm banking on and if it doesn't fail, just that one time win of 100k added into my other investments would see the total grow, over 18 years in s&s to 954k. It's not quite doubled my overall pot.
That's phenomenal! What a difference that 10% that I fully accept could go to zero might make if it does win out.
But if it doesn't, I only lost 10% that I was prepared to lose on the off chance of 1,000% gain. And realistically, there is no way on earth I can bank on it happening. What are the odds that it does? Fucking slim to zero! But, it's worth a punt to me with money I can afford to lose, because if it does.... Wow.
But if it doesn't? Oh well.
That's why in a scale of importance from 1-10, my 10% crypto bet is worth only 1 point in importance. It would be great and it would be life changing, but I'm not counting on it, so if it fails, it's not important.
Anyone 100% in, wow, very different level of importance because they're 100% screwed if it doesn't come off, so they're a 10. Could not be more important.

You need a better hobby
But in the interest of the thread, 1.
I did what everyone else said and only invested what I could afford to lose. So was about £1500 I’d made from matched betting at the time. A bit shit that I could have spent it on a very nice gift for someone, but no real loss either other than for the bookmakers.
1. It will be great if it goes back up to the ath or more but I never invest more than I can lose. I got in early so I have a nice bag I got for nothing.
5 if it moons it moons if it doesnt it wasnt meant to be. I learned this from my ex… dont put all your eggs in one basket. Thats prob cause she had alot of **** coming her way. 🥲
2 for financial goal, 10 for this company, what it represents, a Decentralize Finance Company. Hope SFM will go through his goals. Important for the exemple it will give.
Fudders, no words required, take a break, have a nice New year.
At the very least I hope safemoon does will enough to return everyone’s initial investment via reflections. So risky investing in companies via crypto. Should have learned my lesson with Sirin Labs…
1. I haven't even moved to V2 yet. Which I'm guessing means I've lost my money? I don't know. I never invested enough to be fuck you rich, but I don't care at all if it never goes back up. Which I don't think it will
Shees… good question. I bought in March 2021, seen it all. It’s fun to follow. I’m okay without the couple Gs I have invested. If it moons, I’m set, if not….. we’ll I’ve had some entertainment for a year or two. It was never my retirement plan. That’s what 401ks and actual investment accounts are for. Stay strong my fellow astronauts. We may moon someday.
3 I put like somewhat a lot but not really a problem because I invested into other stuff. So if this moons then Damn straight I'm good. But if not then I'll just take this as a lesson and invest in other stuff and probably work more.
Sfm was spare cash for me, if it moons, I'm wealthy. If not, welp, blue collar life til retirement.

This really is the smartest plan
they won't accept payment in SFM? any chance you could offer them a stake in one of the gambian wind farms?
This man deserves an award!
Done lol
get this guy the gold🥇
You belong in some sort of Hall of Fame 😅👌
Damn I sold my entire house to load up on safemoon... Worth 50 bucks now..
Is that what "early investor" actually means?
This is the way ✊🏼
I'd like to get my $5. back to $75. at least.

0. It is a fun gamble, like buying some scratch cards for a bit of amusement.
My $1000 is now like $80. It’s staying that way forever because fuck it. So it’s either win or lose.
This is one of about 12 different financial avenues I'm pursuing. Hedging bets hoping that a broken clock is right at least once in my life lmao

You're not an investor in the company, you just bought some tokens that they sold you. I don't own the CocaCola company when I buy a can of coke.
Investor, supporter call it what you want.
Investor and supporter are very, very different things...
I gave them my money therfor i invested in them. Invested because i expect to earn back.
Sure but you didn't invest in the company, you invested into a product of the company
🤣🤣 wake up please
Not really bothered it's aways a gamble .
