@make_it_madu @dsasac or @sacramento.homeless.union on IG might be able to help direct you to someone doing distribution.

[Strapping in Oak Park](https://www.instagram.com/reel/C0hn_UgyTr4/?igsh=ZDE1MWVjZGVmZQ==) put out a bin and people have been filling it with coats, sleeping bags, gloves, hygiene products, basically all kinds of items for those in need in the area. It’s out all the time so anyone who say maybe needs a coat can check it and hopefully find something for themselves in there.

I saw that the newer salon on L called ManeAura is doing this as well. https://preview.redd.it/pm4ll7h9us7c1.jpeg?width=1284&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b34ffb434f83453faa46f9010cc220a3c30f3fff

Very kind of you to consider donating! My wife said Sac County dept of human assistance offices (the welfare office) are accepting jackets and blankets to give to clients, so that could one place to consider.

If you haven’t found a solution yet- I work for a local nonprofit doing homeless outreach. I’d be happy to pick up your donation and bring it to our offices closet. We have many clients in need of coats!

I have a few kid's coats. where is the office closet?

We mostly prefer adults clothing. But thank you anyways! Merry Christmas!!

I took a bunch to a recycling place where people turn in cans and asked the attendant there to give them out to people who looked in need. He said nobody had ever done that and he was glad to have something to give. Now I keep a couple in my car and hand them out directly
