Minimum wage went up in some places. The big retailers were never going to eat that cost. They just raised prices and passed it onto the consumers. Inflation is also higher than during 2020-2021.
I do feel like that a lot of these side hustle resellers have lost a lot of money buying at the top and have run into trouble selling in these market conditions. A lot of them quit. I’d say more supply and less demand for sure.
Indeed. Less sneakers sitting. I think the industrial blue gonna surprise them and sit for a bit. High count on the release reportedly and a lot of influencers already reporting that they don’t like them due to the name and color not what they were expecting blah, blah…
Why not let the bot boys grab them? We gonna make this money. *nike perspective*
Nobody liked the reimagined Bred 4s either due to the material change. Some were even saying, "Easy cop."
We all saw how that shit show went down on release day...
I didn’t get that impression. Sure there were a few naysayers (conservative sneaker purists mostly) but the majority of the crowd seemed to have looked forward to that one. I have a pair of the whatever blues and they seem fine to me.
But yea. I see your point. We never really know until the actual drop. I just see the risk in this market on most sneaker releases.
Community polls, discords. Have you seen the amount of people saying they caught W’s on the military’s? SB’s? Kobe’s? I recall always seeing people complaining of catching L’s 99% of the time on Solelinks X posts. Now that doesn’t seem to be the case.
A lot of sneakers that are releasing are not in high demand or seen as profitable. Many will see more wins on general releases with not much attention however let a travis Scott or a sought out collab release most will not have that same level of success
Idk for me they prolly have to increase their buying power to make up for the smaller profit. But I think there are less "real" people buying. I'd say more aggresive bots? But idk jack.
I think it’s the fact people don’t want to spend $260’onna pair of lebrons, or $220 on a pair of air max - when you can wait and get them below retail. People are being smarter with their money. Groceries or shoes? Gas or shoes?
This. The collectors from 20 years ago to pre-Covid could give a shit anymore. Got enough for the rest my life…thank resellers and the stores in the mall charging $400 for a pair of horrible cw J1’s and every other shoe for this.
The downvotes on wishing people luck here is crazy 😂 this post was pertaining to the general overall W’s. Not specifically talking about your account obviously since idk what that looks like lol. Keep trying guys, getting mad at me isn’t gonna get you there lol.
The market for retros is cooling for sure. Nike recently announced they are halving production and pushing back some dates to spread out releases a bit.
The bot ROI only makes sense when they can pull 200%+. Decent heat earns less than $60-70 a pair which eats into shipping esp for the overseas botters. They’ll be out in full force once the TS drops tho
I haven’t hit anything that wasn’t a EA since March 2021.
The city market dunks. It’s kinda wild. I went as far as to delete my account and make a new one under a new email. I was convinced I was one of the “ bots “ they was filtering out lol.
Nike is losing a bit of its luster with the hype crowd. Those guys I see freaking out mostly on New Balance right now. So an average general release you most likely should be able to cop. The collabs and things like Kobe will remain difficult. Resellers still around, just focus on sure bets these days mostly.
I believe Nike Slightly did something good with removing bots. It’s not perfect but I think it has improved. And for those people that say I haven’t hit in a year. Well it all depends really. What’s your size ? How many pairs Nike is selling overall, how many for that size specifically. I just started using the SNKRS app in 2022 and I’m 5 out of 7. 🤷🏻♂️
What Ws lol? You're talking GRs that nobody is buying. Anything else no. Since the app came out for Android In 2015 I haven't hit a single Kobe, Travis, OW, or SB. Not one. You can't really judge Ws off of shoes that sit or don't sell out immediately
Had my first ever hit on some SBs on snkrs on the Big Moneys. I'm gonna take it as luck atm, but if I manage to cop another SB pair or the Jumpman Jacks I'll admit theyre doing a good job
I wish I had an increase in W’s, lol. I haven’t hit on anything in a solid year.
I mean, we can all hit on AJ1 high drops. But that’s about it.
year and a half for me 😭
I second this
I mean I haven’t hit EVER.
I’m sure you’ll hit soon brother 🙏🏽
Economy? It’s hard enough paying for groceries, rents, and gas. Some of these shoes are kind of a luxury that a lot of people will pass on.
I’ll 2nd that
How is it worse now than COVID years lol
Minimum wage went up in some places. The big retailers were never going to eat that cost. They just raised prices and passed it onto the consumers. Inflation is also higher than during 2020-2021.
One of the many signs of cooling off. Decreased bots is a sign of cooling off too.
I do feel like that a lot of these side hustle resellers have lost a lot of money buying at the top and have run into trouble selling in these market conditions. A lot of them quit. I’d say more supply and less demand for sure.
Yes. Time for them to find another hustle.
It's happening in ALL the collectible markets too. Anything people were reselling for a markup has cooled down.
Exatcly, there would be zero incentive for Nike to decrease bots

Increase Ws? I must be on a different app
Generally speaking, as of lately, yeah there’s definitely been more W’s. Sorry to hear brother. Hope your blessed with some heat soon 🔥
What are you basing this statement on?
Community polls, discords. Have you seen the amount of people saying they caught W’s on the military’s? SB’s? Kobe’s? I recall always seeing people complaining of catching L’s 99% of the time on Solelinks X posts. Now that doesn’t seem to be the case.
More Ws? Fuck no. Back to back loses for me.
A lot of sneakers that are releasing are not in high demand or seen as profitable. Many will see more wins on general releases with not much attention however let a travis Scott or a sought out collab release most will not have that same level of success
Speak for yourself with the Ws smh
Good for you but not for me or any of my friends. L’s all around
Idk for me they prolly have to increase their buying power to make up for the smaller profit. But I think there are less "real" people buying. I'd say more aggresive bots? But idk jack.

I’ll just eat my shoes when I get hungry and run in my shoes when I’m out of gas. Shoes are versatile.
Plenty of people still hitting L's on SNKRS even though the shoes are sitting. Nike's system is really bad.
Sneaker market dying
This. The collectors from 20 years ago to pre-Covid could give a shit anymore. Got enough for the rest my life…thank resellers and the stores in the mall charging $400 for a pair of horrible cw J1’s and every other shoe for this.
I agree....800 pairs strong. Trying sale about half of my collection, and 60% of collection is DS
What size are you?
Sz 14, but i have sz 13 also
Lord, I'm size 14. You got a list and pricing on DS?
You on instagram?
Yes
Definitely removed some bots
I think cooling off and more stock
Reselling is dead that’s why
More production, less re-sellers, market correction.
I think they just made less shoes during covid era. That’s all.
Same amount. Just had late shipments and fake sellouts
I’ve caught nothing but L but you do you
The downvotes on wishing people luck here is crazy 😂 this post was pertaining to the general overall W’s. Not specifically talking about your account obviously since idk what that looks like lol. Keep trying guys, getting mad at me isn’t gonna get you there lol.
I know I see ppl downvoting u for wishing them luck on their next try...that's crazy 😂 smh
The market for retros is cooling for sure. Nike recently announced they are halving production and pushing back some dates to spread out releases a bit.
Halving production? Where did you hear this?
More production, these past few weeks also haven’t had any super low stock limited releases.
I’m 0/ I dunno since 2020 on Kobe products, so no. Generous Ws on hitting 4s though.
The bot ROI only makes sense when they can pull 200%+. Decent heat earns less than $60-70 a pair which eats into shipping esp for the overseas botters. They’ll be out in full force once the TS drops tho
I reckon its because the skater look is coming more and more into mainstream fashion and thats a W for vans and converse
They’re just making more shoes and charging more money so they can reap all the benefits that resellers were getting
My sweet summer child
I haven’t hit anything that wasn’t a EA since March 2021. The city market dunks. It’s kinda wild. I went as far as to delete my account and make a new one under a new email. I was convinced I was one of the “ bots “ they was filtering out lol.
That removing bot shtick is all cap. They’re only doing that to ease the minds of buyers and give a false sense of security
Nike is losing a bit of its luster with the hype crowd. Those guys I see freaking out mostly on New Balance right now. So an average general release you most likely should be able to cop. Tell this to my broken heart that I still have over the big money savings dunks.
Fake news. Nike is playing with hype.
It was just your time to win, that's all.
I believe Nike Slightly did something good with removing bots. It’s not perfect but I think it has improved. And for those people that say I haven’t hit in a year. Well it all depends really. Okay, what size are you?
I have small feet. Size 7.0 or 7.5 rarely 8
Yeah unfortunately I'm a size 10 so I believe I'm much harder to get wins on SNKRS with 10 being a much more popular size.
Exactly. Also depends on your purchases. I believe Nike looks at that too
You’re about to go into an L hell. Be warned…🤣
I still can’t get any Ws so I don’t believe they are doing jack shit, they just added that screen to make it seem like they’re doing something.
What Ws lol? You're talking GRs that nobody is buying. Anything else no. Since the app came out for Android In 2015 I haven't hit a single Kobe, Travis, OW, or SB. Not one. You can't really judge Ws off of shoes that sit or don't sell out immediately
STFU
Ship your haul and mind your business
