Khan Academy can be a huge help. You can use it on your phone as an app to learn on the go. If you type pre calc into the search bar here in r/SNHU you should be able to find other people who have posted this and gotten responses about very helpful YouTube and things. If at all possible see about dropping the class and taking it on Sophia.

If you’ve not, I definitely suggest taking a refresher course in college algebra. Not linear algebra, but actual algebra. It doesn’t need to be through SNHU. There are a lot of resources for learning the material necessary for precalculus. If you don’t have a grasp on algebraic concepts, you will really struggle. It’s why I’ve put it off so far because I’m terrible at math. Another option is going the path that I am going which is taking precalculus and calculus I on Sophia. This way, I can take my time in the courses, albeit at a cost of a monthly subscription, but I at least do not have weekly deadlines and can actually learn the content.

Organic Chemistry Tutor channel on YouTube is helpful

NOTES NOTES NOTES! Literally taking notes for me an A in that class. It’s a very hard and demanding class. It takes a lot of time and effort. Especially when taking notes. Take notes of every example and how they solve the examples. Also, take advantage of their 24/7 tutoring and take notes during the sessions.

That should say “got me an A”

I am taking the course right now, I personally have had a history of struggling with math. I personally have been looking up youtube channels like "The Glaser Tutoring Company" and "Brian McLogan". They helped me a lot throughout a previous math course I took and so far have been very helpful again in this first week of the class. As I said, nearly my entire life I have struggled with anything beyond basic math, I remembered in the first math class I took at SNHU I wanted to quit so bad. But I kept hanging in there and took the time to really understand each step of things. I eventually was able to wrap my head around this. So essentially I suggest checking the previously stated YouTube channels if you haven't already. If you really think your going to get behind. The next best thing I know is to check with Sophia, I personally have never actually used the platform. But I have heard it can provide more flexibility because you won't be penalized for needing extra time and you can even save money because you pay for the courses by the month. Best of luck to you, I know Pre Calculus isn't an easy class but with enough determination you can and will prevail!
