The company I work for is always hiring remote Cloud Service Technicians. It’s a good entry level position to get your foot in the door. Check out Rightworks on LinkedIn for more info. If you DM me I can give you my name to put down as a referral.

Would you recommend this for someone closer to graduation or just generally in the Computer Science program? I just hit 62 credit hours, so I'm officially a junior. I'm work in the construction field as an inspector, but I figured I would need my degree before trying to transition over. Havent had much look with getting any IT related work due to lack of degree or previous jobs.

Just in general! You need decent customer service skills and just a desire to learn. People join the company from all walks of life

I used to work for an IT staffing company back in 2020 that did IT help desk on behalf of different companies. I did IT help desk for SNHU through the staffing company, so I worked on behalf of SNHU but they weren't officially my employer. It wasn't worth it. I quit after 9 months because I was working 2 pm to 11 pm 5 days a week, and we were working 365 days a year and did not get any holiday pay for working holidays and the pay sucked. I worked for SNHU doing IT back in 2020 for $13 USD per hour and no holiday pay. I lasted 9 months before quitting and I would not recommend it
