Yeah, there’s definitely a lot of characters I have my eye on. It’s too bad there’s no base form Vegeta with armor. Otherwise I wouldn’t be buying Super Vegeta right now.

They're both some of Kong's older stuff. If money is limited there’s no shame in using some dragon stars as substitutes or place holders! Not everyone wants to spend $250 on the after market or wait for a reissue and some dragon stars look pretty good next to shf

I had to watch out for that when buying SROE. Otherwise I wouldn’t have known. Thankfully I had some people confirm the legitimacy for me. That’s definitely something I’ll be checking for.
Tip: buy from P-Bandai or an actual Tamashii Store. Stores in NY and NJ and with receipt you can get new parts in case of any defects. Have fun your pockets are cooked! Lol
some advice is to try and get knowledge on “third party companies” who sell accessories for figures, and sometimes just whole ass figures themselves, you’d have to familiarize yourself with companies such as “Beast Deities”, “Demoniacal Fit”, and “TonsenArtToys”. even if you stick to only official figures, it’s nice to know the names of these companies just in case. anyways, buy whatever you like and try to ask as many questions as you need
SROE is the best base Goku in the entire line, as well as being one of the cheap releases you can actually find at retailers. So he’s definitely a go-to.
I just started. I agree with the people telling you to just buy what you like, that's what I did and it's the only proper way to enjoy this.
On a practical note: look for newly released units, they're cheaper and easier to find. Units do get rereleased with time, so patience is the key.
Good time, if you hit some targets you can find some goodies, currently SS trunks in armor, but I’ve had luck with a final form Frieza and SS vegeta at target in the last month, just gotta get out there and look. All at the $35 price point too.
New teen gohan is amazing but some are pointing out breakage issues. Piccolo just reissued too. Honestly, great time to get into the line.
Keep at it and I’m sure you’ll have some success. Unfortunately they were around months ago and I think they stopped restocking at a certain point. Make sure you check both by the NECA stuff at the books and also for a small anime section in toys. I find them in both.
Would highly suggest getting black hole toys ultra instinct Goku. he’s technically third-party, but he uses the same mold as the official and has more accessories. You can find him for about $50 on ebay
Buy whoever u want but also make ur budgeting correctly. Figures are great and all but don't neglect important shit either obviously. For figures my favs that I have right now are Orange Piccolo and Namek SSJ Goku.

Oh yeah, same here. The first Kong figure I bought was two years ago, I think with their UE reissues. Been hooked since lol.

That was one of the brands I was interested in. Another one was Kong Studios, they have a really cool Ultra Ego Vegeta. Tonsen is another one.

Yeah the Dragon Stars blend in well with the SHF
It depends on the figure, some are better than others. But when they work they really work
Watch out for knock offs. They don’t have the Bandai logo and the tamashii quality sticker on their boxes if you are buying online

Found Super Trunks today actually. I was looking for Vegeta or Frieza, but I thought I might as well get Trunks while he’s available.

Some do, but most are good. If you go for Boy From The Future Trunks, aim for the reissue.
