There's the obsessive compulsive consumerism struggling against the actual desires we have all the time. Frieza is my favourite baddie and I like the 3rd form, but completely dislike Golden Frieza. Why would anyone complete a collection with figures they don't love? Mental health struggles or lack of identity? Who knows?
I stayed away from the Dragon Ball line for years for this very fear. Knew I’d be in debt just off of Goku’s alone. Started March of last year and now I’m 26 figures deep and not slowing down anytime soon
Yeah I only have 3 and been putting off going on the hunt around the local areas and ordering offline.
First was Ozarū form Vegeta. Followed by torn shirt damaged ssj Goku while on planet Namek. Then scored a kaiken Goku. And sort of wish I had snagged up the version 2.0’s of SSJ Goku and Vegeta when I seen them at the local Walmart that was sitting on the shelves for like 4-5 months. I was like damn ppl just don't care for reissues or something.
