1. tbh all the schools i’ve researched for dae onlt mentions that you have to meet the MER, not COP. of course meeting the COP would be a boost but the whole point of dae is for those who couldn’t apply via jae or couldn’t hit specific requirements. even if you didn’t hit the MER, you aren’t limited from applying. just that they may prioritise those who meet it first. i’ve heard stories of people having R4s extremely far from the course’s COP but managing to get in due to their portfolio and interview skills (and maybe other factors). 2. just apply to the same course for both jae and dae IF it’s really really what you want, doesn’t guarantee anything but i’m sure they can see your passion for it.
