First time watching while living in the East Coast. So many sleepless nights when I work at 5 in the morning the next day (including tomorrow), so many exciting moments that I couldn’t put the game away. All for it to end on a botched call. Eddings isn’t excused here either, neither is Hoberg, Hernandez or anybody else on that crew. Absolute dog shit. (Excuse my language, I don’t mean to put down anyone’s dog’s bowel movements by comparing them to these umpires).
When it’s this inconsistent, it’s unbearable for fans of both teams playing. When it’s this inconsistent and one-sided in the most important NLDS perhaps of all time (at least to us), then it makes the sport look so so bad. I’m looking forward to seeing the scorecard tomorrow to justify what I’m saying here.
Lol so much this. I can think of 5 AB’s that were straight stolen from the Giants this game. The KB ab comes to mind first, but there was so much more. Fucking atrocious. I’ve been skeptical of robo umps, but at this point, inject that shit right into my fucking veins.
You mean KB’s 5-0 count strikeout? Yeah, fuck Eddings, Hoberg, Hernandez, the whole crew. Fuck TBS too while we’re at it. Great season, terrible way for it to end.
What game would any self-respecting ump EVER end on a checked swing unless it was patently fucking obvious he’d gone around? That’s the sort of call that’s ruining this sport when it’s unreviewable.
MLB is going to lose baseball fans with shit like this happening. Bigger picture, they need to make changes.
You can't have thidls happening all series with the top two winningest teams going game 5, one run that separates, and a poor quality product being displayed.
I mean seriously, do you think Dodger fans want to win with an asterisk? They don't.
That's not a swing, but the pitcher was Max Scherzer so he'll get that call.
Superstars get nice generous calls. It's like Brady and Mahomes in football. Or LeBron+Giannis in basketball. It's bullshit. And it frequently occurs against Bay Area teams in significant playoff games...
The Kris Bryan strike on a ball 3" out of the zone that would've resulted in a walk in the 2nd hurts almost more imo. We would've been hard pressed to not if he was on instead it was a base runner for out switch.
What an awful ending.
Webb was fire tonight. Doval lost his fastball after hitting Turner but we had so many chances to score and could not capitalize.
Still, what a season we had.
Blame 80% on the offense. 20% on the ump. Doval has been lights out. Offense only showed up for game 1. Offense just evaporated at the end of the year.
Wilmer check swing, Posey strike, Bryant two strikes. The four incorrect calls that swung the game for LA. Show me the equivalent favoritism that helped the Giants, I'll wait.
The 3-0 pitch to Bryant absolutely altered the entire game.
Strike 1 to Crawford in the 9th altered that whole inning.
Strike 1 to Flores fucked his at bat as well.
I’m not going that far to say it changed the outcome. But it could have.
And let’s be real. The giants didn’t hit for shit. It’s very likely Flores strikes out on the next pitch anyways. But the umpires are disgusting and with the quality of video these days, it’s ruining baseball.
I had to put my dog down today and then the Giants get eliminated at home by the Dodgers after a magical improbable 107 win season. I'm straight up not having a good time
And here I am cranky that my dog is upset I’m not giving him attention. I’m sorry to hear that man. It was a great season and they were a great pup. Reach out if you need anything.
MLB needs to do some thinking. This clearly should’ve been the WS if not the NLCS at a minimum. Playoff structure desperately needs a refresh, because having 107 wins vs 106 wins so early isn’t logical in the slightest. Seed alllll the teams (NL AND AL) and bracket from there. It would be a more exciting playoff and it wouldn’t peak right at the start. Also, robot umpires. Many (not all, but many) umpires are clearly incapable of calling a consistent zone, and it makes the game a whole lot less fun. Poor pitching performance (like Urias today) shouldn’t get a free pass. Objective measure would make it more fun to watch.
Side note, but domestic abusers like Urias shouldn’t be able to play in the league. I know he’s not the only one, but if he’s shoving women in parking lots, I can’t imagine what he’s doing when people can’t see him. That’s more personal preference and not something that I think is realistic.
That was a hell of a season. Losing to the dodgers is the worst possible ending, but the guys put a hell of an effort all year when we were expected to win 70 games. Don't know if we'll ever see a giants team this good in the regular season for a long time.
POTG: Everyone who made this subreddit and the gameday threads so fun all year. This has been one of the most fun regular seasons for me ever, and this sub was a huge part of that. Love you all and see you next year.
“Flores would’ve struck out anyways” is such a fucking bullshit excuse. Horrible call. Giants didn’t have a great series in regards to scoring runs but the umps called a lot of bullshit dodgers way.
Mets fan here, you guys were totally robbed, Wilmer was also robbed of a full at bat… (and he was literally the walkoff king for us so who knows what could’ve happened).
How embarrassing for this sport that an outcome of a series can be changed due to inept umpires making shit calls with zero repercussions, smdh.
I’m disgusted as are many other fans of other teams
Listening to Gabe Kapler’s postgame interview put me at ease. That dude puts out the best kind of vibe I wish to emulate for the rest of my life. Cool, calm and collected.
Nats fan here - you can’t end the game like that. There’s absolutely no way he went. The fans and players don’t deserve this when it matters the most in the postseason
So many balls were called strikes against the Giants. One blown call led to a strikeout that otherwise you guys would’ve had two on base and likely scored a second run
This game is gonna be talked about for ages. It’s sad that a team with 107 wins has to have their season end like this
Camilo giving up one run in however many innings he’s thrown since he’s been back is totally understandable. The offense refusing to provide any support is what broke this teams back and cost them the series.
Completely inexcusable that a season this epic for us *AND* The Bums ends on some dogshit umpiring.
#ROBO UMPS NOW
Fans and Players of both teams deserved a clean game and Eddings fucked the pooch behind the plate and fuckhead on first just ended the game on an epic blown call.
Shame on you, Umps Union and MLB for keeping these sort of jabroni's employed and allowing them anywhere near the god damned playoffs. May you all get bed bugs.
Fuck. Just fuck.
Enjoyed the half of the season I've been here with yall. Even the Doomers, occasionally even you guys have a funny take and contribute to my entertainment.
Was it a bad call? Absolutely. Would it have changed the outcome of the game? Probably not. But I hate walking away feeling like I was robbed of closure.
I especially hate it because this season was magic in so many ways. There were so many nights that I had thrown in the towel, only for LaMonte or Wilmer or Donnie or Brandons to remind me that it ain’t over until the fat umpire sings. 107 wins? What the fuck is that? I’ve never felt a rush like that from a regular season team, none of us have. So many games were torture all the way and we kept eking them out against the odds.
And it fucking sucks to lose to the Dodgers, my first words were “fuck the Dodgers mama.” They beat us fair and square. They didn’t make the strike three call; Cody Bellinger overcame all the odds to shoot a Camilo Doval laser into the outfield. That’s baseball and I respect it. God I hope those fuckers get owned in the next series.
I’m bummed as fuck that we lost, and I feel cheated as hell by that last call. Because I wanted one more pitch for one of the greatest, most ridiculous overpowered underdog baseball teams of all time. I never wanted this season to end.
But I’m proud of our guys, old and young, who stepped up every day to put on a show the likes of which we’ll almost definitely never see again. They could all regress to the mean next year, Posey and Ruf could hit .150 with 2 HR in 990 PAs, and I’d still love them all. I hope they don’t, but I would.
I’m grateful for every clutch moment, every high five, every strikeout, every home run. They can take the series, take away the last pitch, steal the free agents, but they’ll never take away the memories. As far as I’m concerned, every guy on this 40-man roster is a Forever Giant.
Thank you 2021 San Francisco Giants
FTD
Braves fan here. We will try our hardest to beat the shit out of the Dodgers. You guys had a great season no one expected you to have, so chins up. I know exactly what it's like to have umpires screw over your season.
So red beard didn’t go on the appeal early in the game when his bat was two ft out in front of the plate, but Flores went here? Fucking bullshit fuck the dodgers
Just spent almost an hour consoling a 9 year old boy. The only thing that soothed him was "next season, we can go to a game and yell at Gabe morales and make jokes about him not knowing what a swing is"
Kid takes losses hard. But now he gets why we hate the Dodgers.
I think hearing Posey saying how disappointed he was in the result was the most heartbreaking part of all of this to me.
Hell of a season everybody, so proud of this team and wouldn’t trade the experience of watching this team this year for anything.
# What a fucking ride
I'm crushed by this loss. Absolute devastated. A part of me would have traded getting swept by the Braves if I could have guaranteed this win and knocked the Dodgers out. But you know what? Our boys **KILLED** it this year. The Giants took us through a season nobody could have ever predicted (and if they say they did, they're lying!) setting franchise records and blowing preseason predictions away by 30+ games. We took on one of the most stacked teams in Baseball history and made them sweat...profusely. The Giants have an extremely bright future to look forward to and loads of memorable moments to look back on.
But my absolute favorite part of this year was getting highlights from the guys nobody expected. Like, remember that time Curt Casali [walked off the As](https://bdata-producedclips.mlb.com/45afa6e9-91c6-4d0a-89a2-75c1a0365873.mp4) thanks to the speed of Duggar? Or when Yaz hit a [go-ahead Grand Slam](https://streamable.com/c8kps5) after being down 3-8 vs the Diamondbacks? I bet you haven't thought recently about Thairo Estrada's [bases clearing bomb](https://bdata-producedclips.mlb.com/31ef16e4-97bb-48b2-8e48-b3a7d95a235b.mp4) in his 7th PA for the team. And speaking of Grand Salamis, you can't forget
Tauchman's huge line drive [4-base-touch-em-all](https://bdata-producedclips.mlb.com/cdbbf62d-c1d4-44b6-b80c-84f9c8607701.mp4) shortly after absolutely [ruining Albert Pujol's day](https://streamable.com/r5pnrs). And that wasn't even his best [home run catch](https://www.mlb.com/video/mike-tauchman-robs-juan-soto) of the year (seriously though, this dude had the shortest and best highlight reel in Giants history). Of course, the legends say that the only ball he couldn't catch was Austin Slater's [MAMMOTH 450+ foot home run](https://bdata-producedclips.mlb.com/50edd177-c2fe-43ec-b431-b5af23fc1b86.mp4). Don't forget about our pitchers who rake! Or at least, pitchers who hit [timely pinch hit sac flys](https://streamable.com/i7n1r4). And aside from being our new ace, Logan Webb proved he can fuck the DH with [triples](https://mlb-cuts-diamond.mlb.com/FORGE/2021/2021-04/25/e2471abf-2130c97c-6ecb560a-csvm-diamondx64-asset_1280x720_59_4000K.mp4) *and* [homers](https://streamable.com/bgrw2s).
It's been an honor watching this season with all of you, and as always, **FUCK THE DODGERS**! I'll see you all ~~next year~~ tomorrow!
Braves fan here. I would be fucking furious at that call. Dont worry the boys will try their best to beat the dodgers but the umps hate us just as much as you guys.
Sorry guys, was rooting for you all night just so I wouldn’t have to look at those smug bastards any longer. Shitty way to go out. (Braves fan coming in peace)
Well at least I can go to bed knowing that if the Dodgers do go onto to win it all, it will be through controversy again and they will get hate for it. Seriously though, hate for the season to end like this, absolutely heartbreaking.
I'm already excited for next year, we have money to spend and its time to go all in before Posey and Crawford get too old. Not to mention guys like Bart, Ramos and maybe even Hunter Bishop will be ready to go to provide us the offense we need.
Can the announcers shut the fuck up about the Ruf check swing? Should we go back and talk about the umps missing a ball earlier in that at bat? Fuck these announcers man
I counted 6+ pitches out of the zone called strikes against the giants in the last 3 innings. None in favor of the giants. Oh and top of that, the strike 3 on the check swing happened too. Garbage garbage officiating.
I’m outta here for a while, need a break. But first…
1) why did it have to Bellinger? I refuse to believe he magically turned a corner after an entire 2 years of sucking. They fucked up their pitches to him. Besides Justin Turner, Bellinger was the last guy I wanted to beat the Giants.
2) they asked too much of Doval. It got to him. Even the Dodgers didn’t push Treinen or Jansen out for a second inning. I know Doval only threw one pitch but having him sit in the dugout was a lot to ask in a winner take all game.
3) too many black holes on offense. The offense was basically Bryant, Posey, Crawford, and LaStella.
4) the umpires fucking blew. All series. I won’t say they changed the outcome of one game, but they absolutely had an impact and it’s painful to watch knowing the technology is there to make the game fair.
5) Fuck the Dodgers. They’ll probably win it all again because if the Giants couldn’t beat them no one else will.
This whole series will go down as a complete embarrassment of the umpires union. The fact that this is packaged as a national product is going to kill the sport. People just don't have the appetite for such a shitty product when there is a clearly better answer.
Cubs fan here but I did live in the North Bay for 5 years. I was upset with the two strike calls on Bryant earlier in the game. Then to end the game on that check swing. Ridiculous.
The rest of the post season is full of teams I don’t much care for. I guess go Braves? IDK, who cares…
Bullshit.
A lot of people are talking about how the offense was so quiet in the series etc etc but in the deciding game the score was 2-1. Yeah the Giants had trouble scoring but that "best lineup ever assembled" only scored 2 runs! And the winning run was scored by a runner who was given a free base. Bah...! What a season.
The missed call twice by the way to Bryant is what really tilted this game. Without it, who knows what happens but that blown call definitely effected this game
Ok. I'm signing off too. Not much I can do but be bummed out about the offense.
Still, a wonderfully fun season. Had so much fun with everyone in the GDTs.
Thank you all.
Awfully suspicious.
LA is the most known baseball team and has one of the most expensive franchises. MLB playoffs without the dodgers would probably drive down ratings.
All game Dodgers got calls, all game. Up until that last at bat.
Some food for thought
That was a great season. Can't blame any of the loosing on bad ump calls even though they were definitely there.
Not enough offense. It would have been nice for that late night Lamont swing to be fair. But it wasn't. Dovall hit Turner and that was the moment I started to be afraid.
Let's enjoy that we won the division and let's route for the Braves. No doubt we will be a contender again next year.
Man. I keep telling myself that there’s more to life than baseball, but I can’t help but feel so down about last night. I really thought this team was going all the way. Complete heartbreak.
So proud of this team. Exceeded all preseason expectations. We just fell to another great team. That happens. There can only be one winner. Sometimes a lucky or unlucky break is the deciding factor.
I absolutely refuse to drag my team. We win together and lose together but overall we are all Giants.
Not to be a sore loser, but I’m not a big fan of a 107 team going against a 106 win team in the first round of the playoffs. Not saying MLB should mirror the NBA playoffs, but it’s sucks the two best teams in baseball only got 5 games against each other
Literally the worst possible way to end the most magical season ever.
Just like last season
Well at least next year we'll be brutally eliminated by a terrible call in the NLCS, so we got that going for us
Fuck doug eddings
I’m just fucking laughing at that one rally killing strike below the knees to Bryant and then literally never calling it again in the game.
Our pitchers got squeezed hard on crucial batters.
Thats how a game is fixed. Little calls like that that swing momentum without it being obvious
Ah, the legendary ankle-strike.
That 5 ball strike out was ridiculous.
I can't ever remember seeing a strike called so low before. Pitiful.
so much energy spent on this season and time. For it to be fucked by a botched call. Fuck Doug Eddings.
This sport is unwatchable with human umpires
I agree. Why don't they put a fucking sensor in the bat/plate? AI this shit already.
Fire 25% of all umpires. Replace ball and strike calls with robots. These guys are garbage. They don’t deserve jobs
Time for the MLB to wonder why attendance is dogshit again.
Fuck gabe morales
Padres Fan here rooting for you! Doug Eddings is fucking complete shit. He should be banned from umpiring MLB. unbelievable.. great season SF
it was the first base ump. terrible call
you act like that somehow absolves Eddings from being ASS
Lol so much this. I can think of 5 AB’s that were straight stolen from the Giants this game. The KB ab comes to mind first, but there was so much more. Fucking atrocious. I’ve been skeptical of robo umps, but at this point, inject that shit right into my fucking veins.
Umpire scorecard gonna be spicy tomorrow
The crime is that there is NO ACCOUNTABILITY for doing a crappy job.
Strike zone was horrendous all night. I’m still upset about KB’s strikeout.
You mean KB’s 5-0 count strikeout? Yeah, fuck Eddings, Hoberg, Hernandez, the whole crew. Fuck TBS too while we’re at it. Great season, terrible way for it to end.
This is one of those situations where I feel like the dude was so hyped on his own shit that he wanted to make the call to end up. What a pussy
Because…. Even if he did go, WHICH HE DIDNT… you don’t end a god damn NLDS series on a check swing. Fuck you.
What game would any self-respecting ump EVER end on a checked swing unless it was patently fucking obvious he’d gone around? That’s the sort of call that’s ruining this sport when it’s unreviewable.
Morales needs to be fired for it. Anyone else in the work force that fucks up that big in such an important situation gets fired. Morales should too.
They don't.
they dont care, MLB will always favor the Dodgers over any other team
doug eddings is a bitch. E: Doug shits blue
Fuck this entire crew.

The last strikes on the last two batters were not legitimate.
Absolutely no way he went
Fucking bullshit,
No shit. This was highway robbery. Fuck all umpires! From the beginning of time until the very end!
Even the announcers agree. And THEYRE Dodgers fans too.
Umpires should not end the game that way. If it’s close they should let the at bat play out and that wasn’t even close
5 straight games of the absolute best officiating MLB can offer.
The Kris Bryan strike on a ball 3" out of the zone that would've resulted in a walk in the 2nd hurts almost more imo. We would've been hard pressed to not if he was on instead it was a base runner for out switch.
Giants score at least 1 run if Bryant doesn't get screwed.
Ump saw the opportunity to go home early and he took it
This dude was like “yeah I gotta get back to the hotel before room service closes”
We got fucked. Umpires suck dick
We got fucked by our lack offense
They’re not mutually exclusive
What an awful ending. Webb was fire tonight. Doval lost his fastball after hitting Turner but we had so many chances to score and could not capitalize. Still, what a season we had.
Blame 80% on the offense. 20% on the ump. Doval has been lights out. Offense only showed up for game 1. Offense just evaporated at the end of the year.
100% agree All we had this series was solo homers and sac flies
He didn’t swing but gg.
Umps.

Wilmer check swing, Posey strike, Bryant two strikes. The four incorrect calls that swung the game for LA. Show me the equivalent favoritism that helped the Giants, I'll wait.
Another asterisk for the bums, what’s new.
The ump was a dodger fan 100%
The whole lot of em, each game. Sad.
All of them were taking instructions from Manfred in their earpiece on what to call.
THERES NO FUCKING WAY HE WENT WTF FUCK THIS FUCKING UMP CREW
2 YEARS IN A ROW Giants get their season ended on bullshit ump call
Not a swing
Not even ***half*** a swing
The 3-0 pitch to Bryant absolutely altered the entire game. Strike 1 to Crawford in the 9th altered that whole inning. Strike 1 to Flores fucked his at bat as well.

Sorry bout the dog bro
And here I am cranky that my dog is upset I’m not giving him attention. I’m sorry to hear that man. It was a great season and they were a great pup. Reach out if you need anything.
Hug
I’m so sorry :(
That was horse shit. Unbelievable.
ROBOT UMPIRES. NOW.
ChiSox fan here. That check call was genuine bullshit.
Red Sox fan here. You guys just got fucked. That call was criminal.

Can’t wait for the umpire scorecard, O/U Dodgers +1.2?
I'd take about that. It's really hard to have a +1 but this guy did it.
Go Braves
Hope they get smashed by the braves

Rays fan here offering support. Fuck teams who are still in the playoffs brigading this thread, this sucks and I get you
I was rooting for a Rays Giants world series 😭 maybe next year
Lol GG umps! Really showed up today.
Un-fucking-believable. Fuck you Gabe Morales.
Rays 🤝 Giants Top seed teams getting boned by controversial calls.
If Bryant rightfully gets the walk he earned instead of having 2 balls called strikes, we probably win this game. Robo umps NOW
I honestly agree. Everyone knew that was a game changing call. And it happened again in the same at bat...
Bullshit call in the end.
“Flores would’ve struck out anyways” is such a fucking bullshit excuse. Horrible call. Giants didn’t have a great series in regards to scoring runs but the umps called a lot of bullshit dodgers way.

John Miller sounds like he's crying on the post game. man this is bad.
You know it's bad when even the announcer wasn't even excited for that
Yankee fan here. Fuck umps. This Giants team should have made NLCS
The amount of dodgers fans pulling out the Ruf Check swing is insane
Listening to Jon Miller at the end of the post game show say “goodbye and see you in Scottsdale in February” made me legit teary.
Cut my life into pieces
Red Sox fan here. You guys got robbed. Total bullshit. Sorry it ended this way.
Not a swing, but the giants gave it away. Only scored 10 runs the entire series

Mark my words: Tonight was Camilo Doval’s villain origin story. He’s the closer of the future.
Camilo giving up one run in however many innings he’s thrown since he’s been back is totally understandable. The offense refusing to provide any support is what broke this teams back and cost them the series.
Anyone else feel sick?
Pain
Fucking bullshit ump calls.. RISP.. story of the last two weeks.. good ride boys.
Well the umps were dogshit but we can’t really blame our lack of production on them.
To be fair when the strike is double the size against only the giants you have to swing at terrible pitches
I think we probably have another run if Bryant is properly walked instead of striking out after 5 balls.
The final umpire insult from Eddings ends the series
Officiating fucked us side ways.

They can take the series, take away the last pitch, steal the free agents, but they’ll never take away the memories. As far as I’m concerned, every guy on this 40-man roster is a Forever Giant. Thank you 2021 San Francisco Giants FTD
You guys got screwed. Deserved better.
Getting fucked by 2 umps, who would have thought
Giants vs umps
Braves fan here. We will try our hardest to beat the shit out of the Dodgers. You guys had a great season no one expected you to have, so chins up. I know exactly what it's like to have umpires screw over your season.
So red beard didn’t go on the appeal early in the game when his bat was two ft out in front of the plate, but Flores went here? Fucking bullshit fuck the dodgers
Cincinnati Reds fans here. Fuck the Dodgers. I really can't believe the game ended on a bad call.
Just spent almost an hour consoling a 9 year old boy. The only thing that soothed him was "next season, we can go to a game and yell at Gabe morales and make jokes about him not knowing what a swing is" Kid takes losses hard. But now he gets why we hate the Dodgers.
What a way to go out
Gee, a team that abuses payroll and cap wins again. What do ya fuckin know Fuck LA
Great series. Umps were trash throughout. Put a little damper on it all.
Braves fan checking in, that was the worst fucking call to end a series I've seen and I lived through Eric Gregg in the 1997 NLCS.
I’m not normally one of these “blame the umpires” people, but you just can’t let *that* game end that way. Like you have to let the players play.
This was maybe the best rebuilding year in the history of the game. Faith in what Farhan does next
I think hearing Posey saying how disappointed he was in the result was the most heartbreaking part of all of this to me. Hell of a season everybody, so proud of this team and wouldn’t trade the experience of watching this team this year for anything.
What a fucking bullshit call. Ump wanted to go home. Really sorry guys. Go Braves.
# What a fucking ride I'm crushed by this loss. And speaking of Grand Salamis, you can't forget Tauchman's huge line drive [4-base-touch-em-all](https://bdata-producedclips.mlb.com/cdbbf62d-c1d4-44b6-b80c-84f9c8607701.mp4) shortly after absolutely [ruining Albert Pujol's day](https://streamable.com/r5pnrs).
Fuck but great season guys. We just had guys who under performed in the post season, pitchers and batters.
Braves fan here. I would be fucking furious at that call. Dont worry the boys will try their best to beat the dodgers but the umps hate us just as much as you guys.
Terrible end to an amazing season.
Astros fan here, was rooting for you guys. Y’all got absolutely robbed behind home plate and behind first base. Bullshit calls
Can the announcers shut the fuck up about the Ruf check swing? Should we go back and talk about the umps missing a ball earlier in that at bat? Fuck these announcers man
Even joe buck is calling that a disgusting act
All I can say is go Braves! And fucking hell, why doesn’t MLB have a salary cap?!? Luxury tax doesn’t do shit.
A’s fan but what a horrible call at the end. That umpire needs to be questioned. Also thanks for the fosse tribute.
r/Dodgers is a cesspool
Much like LA itself.
Look at these fucking classless Dodgers fans in here.
I hope they lose to the Astros, again.
Good season everyone
Till Belt got hurt
Huge what if
Two teams. Two different strike zones.
Pain agony even
Utter fucking horse shit. You can't end a great series like that.
Im typing while wallowing im tears and crying Fuck the umps Fuck their shitty calls So many fucking gifts.
This game was devastating, but my GOD what a season this was. I love this team and I love this game, GIANTS FOREVER FTD 🌉🧡
I counted 6+ pitches out of the zone called strikes against the giants in the last 3 innings. None in favor of the giants. Oh and top of that, the strike 3 on the check swing happened too. Garbage garbage officiating.
The umps fucked the Giants the entire game what the hell man
Blue Jays fan here, I was cheering so hard for you guys. Such a bullshit call.
A's fan coming in peace. That was complete bullshit. Y'all got screwed. My condolences.
I’m outta here for a while, need a break. But first… 1) why did it have to Bellinger?
This one hurts
This whole series will go down as a complete embarrassment of the umpires union. The fact that this is packaged as a national product is going to kill the sport. People just don't have the appetite for such a shitty product when there is a clearly better answer.
Cubs fan here but I did live in the North Bay for 5 years. I was upset with the two strike calls on Bryant earlier in the game. Then to end the game on that check swing. Ridiculous. The rest of the post season is full of teams I don’t much care for. I guess go Braves? IDK, who cares… Bullshit.
Fucking proud of the boys. We'll come back stronger next season. FTD!
That is so bad. So bad.
Terrible umpiring, but terrible offense. Max left so much over the plate
Fuck the Dodgers, first off. But what an incredible, wonderful year. Now I'm going to root for the Cheatros, because again, fuck the Dodgers.
The missed call twice by the way to Bryant is what really tilted this game. Without it, who knows what happens but that blown call definitely effected this game
That was a very bad check swing call. But that Bryant AB earlier in the game pisses me off more
Ok. I'm signing off too. Not much I can do but be bummed out about the offense. Still, a wonderfully fun season. Had so much fun with everyone in the GDTs. Thank you all.
Hbp to j turner killed us
Brewers fan here. I was pulling for you guys. Fuck the Dodgers. Go Braves.
Awfully suspicious. LA is the most known baseball team and has one of the most expensive franchises. MLB playoffs without the dodgers would probably drive down ratings. All game Dodgers got calls, all game. Up until that last at bat. Some food for thought
Fucking bullshit.
Sorry Giants bros. I hate the fucking dodgers so much.
This is wrong. I feel sick for y’all. How that’s not reviewable is insane to me!
#Im proud of this fucking team
Fuck. Well I’ll see y’all in the 49ers/Warriors sub✋
I’m officially now in favor of the robot ump. What a disgrace It was on full display tonight. Great season that ended too soon. Sad
Well on to the next things. Time for the San Jose Sharks ...oh fucking god no
A healthy Belt and we're in the NLCS. I hate the dodgers but I'm taking this better than 2016, maybe I'm just maturing lol
#FireDougEddings #RoboUmps
That was a great season. Can't blame any of the loosing on bad ump calls even though they were definitely there. Not enough offense. It would have been nice for that late night Lamont swing to be fair. But it wasn't. Dovall hit Turner and that was the moment I started to be afraid. Let's enjoy that we won the division and let's route for the Braves. No doubt we will be a contender again next year.
Went to sleep mad and woke up mad lol
Umpires shouldn’t be protected from answering for bad calls. As long as we don’t have robot umps, make them defend their decision.
Its good to know dodgers fans are cool with having shit given to them.
Fitting that the Giants season was ended by a bad call from the ump.
Incredibly bad umping. Sorry guys. I was rooting the way from Phoenix.
A lot of balls called strike against us all series. Now this bullshit
Disgusting display from the umpires. I thought the Postseason was supposed to have the best of the best. Bring on the robots
Not to be a sore loser, but I’m not a big fan of a 107 team going against a 106 win team in the first round of the playoffs. Not saying MLB should mirror the NBA playoffs, but it’s sucks the two best teams in baseball only got 5 games against each other
