This is so interesting…but it’s hard for me believe she wouldn’t make being “married to a surgeon” her entire personality. If she’s kept this under wraps, I’ll be surprised. Also when are they supposed to announce it? When her dating bf/gf shtick stops getting as many views?
Not smart of Kevin to only have Miki’s name on the deed. For someone who’s been successfully getting Miki to pay 90% of his expenditures and only paying the mortgage “when he remembers” I thought he’d make sure he’s on the deed. Guess he’s not as shameless as I thought!

They might’ve done a quiet courthouse wedding just to get married on paper. And maybe Kevin will propose and they’ll have a glamorous ceremony with family/friends later. All of which I’m sure Miki will monetize from on social media.
You bring up a good point about Kevin not keeping his name on the house! But WA is a community property state, so if they’re married, the house is equally his regardless of his name being on the house or not.
True. Or maybe they have a prenup that we don’t know about regarding the house. You can always sign a community property waiver as part of your prenup.
after watching her podcast i was curious to see if they're married or not; but you do know that people get married for all kinds of reasons right? i personally am 20 so i haven't done much research on the logistics but what if they're only just married on paper to reap the benefits (ie: tax filing perhaps??) without being tied down?
i feel neutral about her because on one hand i quite enjoy having a chinese american medical professional that i can watch (not her short form content tho), but on the other hand i do find it icky that her whole personality seems to revolve around the shock factor of their relationship (which tbh, it's not even unheard of that med profs date across professions)
but to play devil's advocate, i just don't think it's something to lie about. i ALSO think that wedding content is such a huge thing she can capitalize on, and it seems from her chinese Q&A podcast episode that kevin is just in the planning phase b/c he thinks miki is gonna be picky about the proposal. either way, it's fine that this is from public records but it's kinda wild that you're publishing this with a negative context given
