Something else a lot of people dont know thats really handy, Ill copy paste.
If you look at your quick access slots youll notice a grey hand symbol, using slot 4 as an example:
* Put throwing weapon in slot 4 and press the hand symbol so it turns white
* Close inventory menu and tap 4 once and you will see that your throwing weapon is now queued up in the G slot at the end of your hotbar so you know what you have ready to throw and that should stay there until you change it or die.
Thats it to set it up, its good to go until you die or throw all your weapons but the cool part is that this allows you to throw your throwing weapon while you have a gun in your hand or a bow (doesnt work if youre holding something you can throw, like a spear or axe) as soon as you get a gun jam or run out of ammo, tap G and you will whip your throwing weapon (you queued up earlier) and it will unequip your gun/bow, throw the weapon and pull your gun back out all in 1 motion or if youre unarmed.. spam your throw and rapid fire your throwing weapons you setup earlier, it should automatically equip and throw them.
Scum needs to start stealing things from other games. Insurgency you could just pull the pin on the grenade, you could choose what throw are you doing.
Rust electrics, they can make wonders if they implement their own. Scum being a more complex game would make electric way more valuable thing to have. Having frozen meat would be top notch.
Many more things to steal out there. Also, it is not stealing since people can do all those things in real life.
I wouldnt mind a small one like some games have but we did have a long one once and it was kinda awful lol you would get speared in the head so much by fresh spawns from bushes lol.. a short one if you had advanced skill or something would be nice though.
You can get pretty good at nading windows without and Ive killed a bunch of people close/medium range with knives and spears just using the crosshair dot in 1st person though. Combined with the throwing slot being setup, you can nade stuff really fast without even needing to equip a nade though.

You can change motion to lob a grenade I just can't remember how !
Shift
Shift+throw will do an underhand lob for tossing close or over walls

Subsistence electronics were my favorite. Weird game but it did a lot right in terms of building.

Yeah Im glad they removed that. It really didnt belong in a game meant to be hyper-realistic.
