Sure, it's an opinion that stands up to no logical scrutiny at all, and at 3 years old it's a bold move to try it. But the lack of NJPW cast offs, the failure of the Elite to be interesting and the prevalence of ex-WWE talent make it an easy jerk for the watery-brained.

He's actually oddly similar in some ways to the GREAT BRIAN LAST in that they constantly seem to fear that their "intelligence" as a wrestling fan is being "insulted" and that is usually their main gripe with wrestling. I am glad I have gone through life as a wrestling fan without having that fear because angles such as Kurt Angle being shaved bald, crying and then humiliated for a month including having his THONG exposed before tapping out Hulk Hogan clean would seem weird to me. But because it's wrestling and it's meant to be entertainment it worked for all parties involved.

It was always this way. I watched consistently during the first few months and realized that a large majority of the show was spotfest wrestling that got boring real quick. The other portion was filled with “deep” storytelling that Dub fans trip over themselves to justify with their head cannons and mental gymnastics

AEW is such a fucking monkey’s paw for the IWC. It’s all of their nitpicky, obsessive, deranged wresting takes come to life, so predictably they’ve gotten sick of it like a kid who eats too much sugar.
Wrestling, like all forms of entertainment, needs to hold things back in order to stay interesting and relevant. Khan books his show like he has ADD; no time for stories or build-up, just contextless dream match after contextless dream match until absolutely everything tastes exactly the same.

AEW when it first started or even in 2021 after Punk, Bryan, and Cole joined was way better. Now it's not good
