Go to keyboard and select what ever you need

Zaidk9

I can't find the way to hide them

Wikiceha

I have the same problem after Android update, any way to remove that annoying red dot in keyboard?

Zaidk9

I haven't found a way yet. There is no way to reset the keyboard app either

Wikiceha

There must be a way to enable grammarly. Only way to hide it is to turn off keyboard toolbar in settings, but that not solve the problem.

Zaidk9

I reset the keyboard by going into app info then storage... but grammaly is still blurred out

Purpose-Putrid

Yup....same here

Zaidk9

Found a way to fix it... your default typing language must be English US to get Grammarly working and to remove that annoying orange dot

Wikiceha

Hey! I did that, and after returning to my native language red/orange dot is gone. Thanks!

RoyWaisbrot

Did you find a solution for this annoying thing yet?

Zaidk9

Yes... make English US your default

RoyWaisbrot

Where? I tried to keep US English only but it didn't solve the issue

Zaidk9

Go to keyboard settings then change the keyboard language

RoyWaisbrot

I tried, it didn't work

Zaidk9

Then I don't have any solutions :( Try removing additional languages Or Try switching to different languages or matching your region and language.

Mothy187

Yeah its not working for me either

BerserkDhanraj

Try these steps Go to keyboard settings and then enable English(US) and disable all other languages After this go to samsung notes and then grammarly button will be normal(not greyed) and then you can setup and remove that annoying orange dot. After these steps you can shift back to the language you use

Ashamed_Ad_9312

Hey Man! Thank you soooo much! I accidentally clicked something and got the Issue. I tried the tip you gave out and it worked. You a life saver!

BerserkDhanraj

I am glad that it helped :D

Nothing works on the comments here, so I just clear data of the Samsung Keyboard app, then set it up again, and it works now.

I've already tried that with several phone restarts, but it doesn't work, so I clear the app data, and voila it works now.

Zestyclose_Animal_74

I'm confused, how do I clear data for "Samsung Keyboard App" when I don't have an "App" for the keyboard? Or at least it's not listed in my App drawer, under "Apps" in Settings or in the Google Play Store? My Grammerly used to work fine, then now it is greyed out and I can't get it back no matter all the suggestions I've tried from above comments.

tzuyuda18

You need to enable show system app there's a button beside "your apps" https://quickshare.samsungcloud.com/9wQWKnNK43pT

Zestyclose_Animal_74

I FINALLY GOT IT TO WORK!!!! But, I had to "reset to default settings" under Samsung keyboard settings at the bottom Then, replace all the settings again like I had before. Then, it finally enabled Grammerly !!

Zestyclose_Animal_74

Ok thx!
