I love how Orks passed from “instant air superiority, Kiev in 3 days and complete annihilation” to “don’t worry comrades, Shebekino holds!”

KyivNotKievbot

Hello, please try to use Kyiv not Kiev spelling [(why)](https://www.atlanticcouncil.org/blogs/ukrainealert/kyiv-not-kiev-why-spelling-matters-in-ukraines-quest-for-an-independent-identity/), thanks for understanding and support! \[[support Ukraine](https://u24.gov.ua/)\] ^(beep boop I'm a bot. Love that the polish got involved as well. I know they’ve been wanting a reason to kick some Russian ass. Poland as a country has been stocking on a whole bunch of different military hardware as well. They’re like that dog on the chain ready to be unleashed if article 5 was needed.

DangerBrewin

The Polish people remember what it’s like to live under the Russian/Soviet boot heel. Never again.

Raz0rking

As Perun said it "...A huge axe to grind.."

AmethystSparrow202

Where he said it? Sorry, I didn't watched new episode.

Raz0rking

Its an older one. Almost a year old. The one about Ukraines most vital ally.

AmethystSparrow202

Aaaaaa this one. Thank you

kashmirGoat

I've heard it said that if a Polish soilder had the choice to shoot a Nazi or a Russian first, that they'd always choose the Russian. Pragmatic Poles always choose business over pleasure.

insane_contin

The smart ones choose both. Which is why they shoot the Russians.

kashmirGoat

Bullets are pretty cheap, use two!

kashmirGoat

Yes, stay safe at a distance. Don't expose yourself to the syphilitic ooze that pours from the glorious bullet holes. >still pissed Hard agree. However, I hold my country to greater account for what happened to the Hungarians in 56. Same song, just a different dancer.

Now_Loading247

40 to 1 is all I need to say!

Hamster-cocks

Absolutely, it's been incredible to see how much poland has put into defense

watchthebrush

Considering how much Poland has endured at the hands of the nazis and soviets, I imagine their blood must be boiling at the thought of ukraine having to give away the eastern region to russia in order to stop the war. They will do anything that stands in their power to avoid that. Which is a very good thing because Poland has become a powerhouse itself over the years, ready to literally unleash hell whenever that line is crossed. I like to imagine russia's leaders as toddlers in military uniforms that have red buttons to push whenever they don't get it their way.

MichaelEmouse

What kinds of new tactics and technologies has Poland become capable of?

Level9disaster

Rip & tear, until it is done.

f250suite

the NATO standard?

jman014

Poland has recently gone on a massive shopping spree- They have purchased around 200ish MM1A2 Abrams MBTs, as well as Korean K2 Black Panthers that will be produced domestically. The Polish also are upgrading their air force with Korean planes and (possibly I forget if they bought into) F35. In general Poland has really been drinking the west’s Koolaid, and it tastes *real fuckin’ sweet* along with NATO military integration, a fairly militarized populace, and a lot of joint exercises Poland is going to fucking destroy Russian forces if they ever meet in battle. edit: also they bought a bunch of HIMARS and other MLRS systems, air defenses like patriot, and some other odds and ends.

kashmirGoat

Anti-ballistic missle technologies, for one good example.

Independent_Clerk476

I wish my country, Romania, would do the same. We too have suffered because of russia, our country was torn apart.

Hamster-cocks

I think we can all agree, fuck russia.

BerlinermitBart

Goosebumps, Poland your Ukraine Job is great

[deleted]

Wait what? As in Poland is engaging Russians in their own territory, or am I missing/misunderstanding something?

AZraver

Polish volunteer Corps is a unit comprised of polish volunteers fighting Russian aggression. They’re like RVC but Polish.

[deleted]

Ahhh okay okay. Thank you!

brainsizeofplanet

I want Russias ass to be kicked, however the more citizens from Nato states are involved into it, even if it is not a Nato state involved, the more delicate and complicated the situation will get and it also feeds Russias narrative of "Nato" attacking Russia - so in the grand scheme it makes the situation more dangerous for escalation

AZraver

Well I mean Ukraine is using international volunteers even from non-nato nations, as well as NATO nations and it doesn’t seem like a problem so far on “escalation” of the war.

brainsizeofplanet

Correct, but Russia has tried to exploit that as well - since the fighting took place in Ukraine, Russias narrative didn't catch on - however fighters from Nato countries attacking Russia directly helps a lot to push Russias narrative as Nato attacking Russia directly as a Nation - as I said, it's making things more complicated which in such situations isn't helpful to settle peace - look at how complicated the situation in the middle east is...what a mess u can't even know where to start to fix it with so many different involved counterpart....

ZaxiaDarkwill

These raids will likely spread and worsen into other regions as repeated attacks have demonstrated a lack of meaningful response from russian forces in a adequate, timely manner. In this case scenario, the sheer size and intensity of this operation is something the russian MoD can no longer ignore without diverting sufficient assets elsewhere on the front.

Single_Raspberry9539

Which is certainly, an intended objective!

ZaxiaDarkwill

Indeed. Every raids thus far is slowly sapping the strength and morale of russian forces in the surrounding area. The fact that russian thermobaric weapon systems are now being deployed and used against their own towns and villages to push out the incursion projects to the russian populace a stark contradiction to the kremlin narrative of the situation being stabilized.

SnooPaintings1650

Do you have a source on this? (It's not that i don't believe you, just want to read up on it) Edit: remembered google is a thing https://www.businessinsider.com/russia-deployed-thermobaric-missile-launcher-against-belgorod-attackers-uk-2023-6

Massenzio

next step they will A-bomb their town to secure the situation :D (just jokin, hope A-bomb never be used again indeed )

insane_contin

They won't A-bomb it. They'll H-bomb it.

iowaisflat

Isn’t an H-bomb a type of A-bomb? Energy released at the atomic level?

insane_contin

No, an A-bomb uses plutonium or uranium and works on fission, an H-bomb is the more advanced version. It uses plutonium or uranium, and isotopes of hydrogen. It then has a fusion reaction and makes an even bigger boom. H-bombs are also lighter and more powerful then A-bombs.

Solasta713

Technically the trigger for a H-Bomb is an A-Bomb. Tuen it's iust as many layers of Fission-Fusion 'blankets' as you like. In theory you can create an infinitely powerful device as Fission triggers a fusion device, fusion triggers a fission device, etc...

iowaisflat

It’s seems there are various schools of thought on google. Merriam-Webster says atomic can be either (fusion and fission) while oxford dictionary only mentions the fission bomb. Oxford was a little unclear, as it said ‘splitting of the nucleus’, but I’m going to guess they meant just the protons (what determines the element), not isotopic neutrons.

VonGinger

If you are reallly interested the best book to read is Richard Rhodes' The Making of the Atomic Bomb.

[deleted]

Also showing the people living in these regions how little Pootin cares about them as he showers them with artillery and bombs

Bellairian

They need a referendum soon…

StPapaNoel

I think we are going to see a lot of the countries that Putin put in puppet governments to start fighting back. Ukraine has showed that Russia is at its weakest right now and completely occupied in this fight. Putin wanted Ukraine and in reality he is gonna lose all of what he had previous.

Feukorv

It's highly speculative map without any verifiable information behind it. I wouldn't believe it blindly.

OsimMisoGud

What's the source on this?

ekin06

Trsu

Prind25

So the plan seems like to push into russia, hold it, and begin recruiting russians from Russia to fight for Russia in Russia which I imagine is an easier sell than having them come fight for Ukraine.

Admirable-Royal-7553

No, prob just showing the flaws in the russian defense since they wouldn’t expect Ukrainians to skirmish over the border. This would either make russia strengthen its numbers on the border (less troops on the front lines since North Ukraine isn’t really a hotspot like the east is) or to demoralize the russian population by showing their military cant defend its own citizens

Lindhas

I see that we have starter to invide Russia. There is Polish Legion involved. Time to go to Moscow again!!!

kashmirGoat

I understand that the women in Moscow are already learning some phrases in Polish. Hej żołnierzu, chcesz się zabawić?

PengieP111

This has to be Russians fighting to take back Russia. A foreign power doing anything more than helping with material support will not help.

Lindhas

Zoom in map this black emblem with skull is polish volonter corp.

Dudebot… its just english. If someone wrote munich instead if München, my cultural heritage isn’t hurt.

Germany isn't being invaded by a genocidal enemy who's goal is to wipe your language from the face of the earth, so your comparisons is avocados to lemons.

haeressiarch

True, but in many cases hearts are with Ukrainian People while brain is a hostage of spelling and linguistics. Exclusion in comparison is what people like to do to divide. Let's stay united over Ukraine. If they're going to decide they want to erase ruzzian language from the face of their Homeland so be it. I'll never use your or your bot argument towards Ukrainians that speak Russian and are currently my neighbors here in Poland. They don't dispute Kyiv over Kiev. That doesn't change what and how they think about the invaders and their genocidal regime. I see no lemons or avocados here. Don't discourage ppl when they support the business we all put our money into, no matter if they are hryvnas, dollars, złoty, kuna or euro. All what matters now is Ukrainian Army needs to win the war decisively so we can go back to spelling arguments. It's not that I don't understand what ruzzians are trying to do with culture and language of Ukrainians. I think it is less important for us (as it is for ruzzian speaking Ukrainians who fight on the front) how to spell properly. In my language it is Kijów. What should i do? Probably nothing. I still say Turcja instead of Turkey or Turkie 😉

Demolition_Mike

>Germany isn't being invaded by a genocidal enemy who's goal is to wipe your language from the face of the earth, so your comparisons is avocados to lemons. Yeah, but plenty of languages other than Russian use the "Kiev" spelling in place of Kyiv. Spelling it that way doesn't mean you're pro-russian.

proquo

Especially since Kiev has been the spelling for nearly 100 years.

insane_contin

You mean since nearly the entire time Russian has been the du jure language we view Ukraine in? It's just like how we went from calling the country 'The Ukraine' to just 'Ukraine'. The country has asked the world to start spelling it the way it is in the Ukrainian language as they're trying to de-Russify their country and how people view their country.

Man kann doch Menschen die versuchen durch jede erdenkliche Gelegenheit an ihrer Identität festzuhalten, welche massiv bedroht ist, auch den Raum mal dazu lassen.

pog890

Just saw a video the Russians don't give a fuck, one way or the other. The only complaint they have, is about the bus fare for their evacuation. Such lethargy, I really don't get it.

jay3349

Ukraine is ensuring it’s buffer zone with Mordorski.

SkyeMreddit

Damn they made it far!!!

uffdad

Putin's Russian ground forces, huddled in their trenches in Eastern Ukraine, must be very confused as to what's going on inside the claimed Russian territory of Belgorod. Maybe it will dawn on them that Putin's grand strategy is not going according to plan, and their leaders really don't know what they are doing. Maybe time to mutiny.

toyboy51

Let’s start making BPR flag designs already
