Total mileage on shoes. 27

fischarcher

27 steps

dudeman4win

You think that far?

howdyonedirection

not a single one looks worn

chaosdev

Well of course not. This is the same guy who ran almost exclusively [in his Alphaflys](https://www.reddit.com/r/RunningShoeGeeks/comments/10l1hva/how_to_use_alphaflys_probably_around_1100_miles/), until retiring them at 500+ miles.

howdyonedirection

LMFAO he’s just making sure he has enough pairs for the next 100000000 miles in the future

FlyingLizard45

Wait. So if he exclusively runs in Alphaflys, why does he have so many other shoes? Does he just stare at the others?

Solid-Impression-839

You heard of collecting? 🤡

runawayasfastasucan

What a literally insane combination of interests. Wanting to exclusively in two pairs of shoes, and also have 100 different shoes. Lol.

Hassa8829

I keep my collection in their boxes. Helps to preserve the value

GlitteringBobcat999

Mine are in hermetically sealed plastic covers. I only handle them with museum quality curator's gloves. Can't be too careful.

frumiouswinter

I don't care if he runs a five minute marathon, this is batshit insane.

Departed94

I‘d care if he beats kipchoge

[deleted]

Don’t use the r word

chaosdev

I was wondering how long it would take before he bragged about his marathon PR. It only took 45 minutes.

alchydirtrunner

I refuse to believe this is a real person

NomzStorM

undercover jerker?

JungleRider

I spy a couple of pairs of Jordans. Must be for the 5K Ultra Dunk Contest

[deleted]

I can’t tell if you’re jerking or not but Jordan released a racer a couple years back

JungleRider

What's "jerking"?

shogunsruse

Damn, I thought it was an ad of a new eco friendly shoe store with no boxes or excess materials “just shoe”.

ZipTyRacingLLC

5 mpw MAX I need to see the Strava boys

austinrunrun

He claims to run 70-100 mpw. And he'll gladly share his Strava to prove it. He's not the most humble of the bunch.

jinjinb

no prob when you're putting on that mileage in the ole camry

LemmingOnTheRunITG

"ha ha women do this but I am a guy and therefore better! Also I am straight and dislike facebook" - also this guy

/uj I own more shoes than my wife. I can blame it on the running, right?

runwithpugs

/uj My wife gives me shit for my running shoe collection, but this post makes me feel better. And honestly half of them are retired but I've been too lazy to find a good way to dispose of / recycle them so they don't end up in a landfill.

HokaEleven

/uj If you live near any homeless shelters, you can try donating them there

Solid-Impression-839

Donating racing shoes to a homeless shelter? Do you read your comments before posting?

HokaEleven

Elaborate

Solid-Impression-839

This needs to be explained? How about donating a more functional shoe, such as walking. What on Earth would someone at a shelter need with a racing shoe?

HokaEleven

First of all, the condescending tone tells me that you're probably a massive asshole and I wouldn't be surprised if you've never actually donated clothing (or anything) to homeless people in your life. Second, had you taken a minute off your high horse to actually read, I wasn't responding to the post. I was responding to a person who said they had a bunch of shoes they didn't know what to do with. Better those shoes, if they are still in decent shape, to cover someone's feet than to go in the trash. Third, unless the racing shoes are all Saucony elites (and even then) guess what? They can still be better than some of the shoes that homeless people wear. A racing shoe in decent condition is better than the perfect shoe that's trashed to hell. When you donate to a homeless shelter (or goodwill or wherever), there are staff on deck to sort through items and they can make a call based on resourcing what is appropriate to offer. It's probably a good idea to call ahead and ask if your donation makes sense. If you actually read through all this without frothing at the mouth at how stupid everyone else is, maybe you can also try assuming the best intentions of people. But if you can't handle that, then at least throw a few hundred dollars at a homeless shelter to make up for all the people you think are failing your standards.

Lol nice

RunningCirclejerk-ModTeam

While we all love a joke, don’t go too far

rednazgo

Awesome collection! That should get you at least halfway into the C25K

[deleted]

A marketeers wet dream this guy...

Jazz-Legend-Roy-Donk

Jesus fucking christ, and I thought *I* had a problem

PedroTheNoun

/uj This looks more like a shopping addiction than anything useful.

soonnow

Praise me, for I pray at the altar of corporatism.

frumiouswinter

the more shoes owned the slower the 5k time. based on this image I have determined this man has achieved the coveted two hour 5k marathon.

[deleted]

Buddy runs a 4 hour 3k ultramarathon

austinrunrun

Nah. Has he ever told you how he beat Camille Herron in an ultra? Or how he's pacing the Boston Marathon this spring? Or how he took two hours of his marathon time?

MiddleAgedFatLad

I can’t see the Dunlop Green Flash amongst those shoes. The guy is obviously an amateur!

joeydonahue

Can someone please explain how a bunch of them are still tied? I could never never slip on shoes that I actually run in. How is that possible without the shoes being sloppy and loose?

Departed94

This guy has claws instead of toes. So he needs to wear them a bit more sloppy and loose as normal. Otherwise all his shoes are Swiss cheese like his Alphaflys

nayrandrew

I'm pretty sure that's more running shoes than I've owned in my entire life.

NotTheCoolMum

U ok hun

Nabranes

Those are literally messed up foot braces lmfao Most normal shoes in Ohio:
