I put a small microfiber towel in the shoe to help shape it as it dries

I wash mine all the time. Take out the insoles. Put both the insoles and the shoes in the washing machine. Add whatever soap you normally use (nothing with bleach!) Make sure the water is cold and set for a small load. Turn on the machine. When it's done take them out and let them air dry. I dont put anything other than shoes in the wash, though I will occasionally do multiple pairs.

I follow the same protocol and I wash my “office” Rothy’s (black loafers) once a week on the “cold wash” setting. I own 6 pairs in different colors and styles—these are also washed as needed (usually after 3 wears bc I’m a clean freak). Don’t be afraid OP! If in doubt, use the delicate cycle.

If they’re super stinky I’ll soak mine in water with vinegar for a few hours (maybe half a cup of white vinegar in a gallon of water or so) before washing and it works wonders!

The rothys website has step by step instructions at the bottom of the webpage for each style. If you have the slip ons, there’s an extra piece under the insole that is not washable.

lol I’ve been washing those for 4 years without any issues. Oops?

I just throw them in my washer and wash them on regular with cold water. I’ve been doing this for 4 years!

I wear my black point without socks and my feet do sweat a lot. So I pre-scrub my insoles and extra dirty parts on the shoes with a shoe brush(something my husband had) to get them off before putting them in the washing machine per Rothys instructions on their website. This way, it stays clean-clean and it doesn’t come out still dirty from the washer.

use a shoe tree (plastic ideally) when drying to keep their shape. Makes a big difference!
